I am a housewife and I have not done any other job apart from this. Housewife or home maker are small words but it seems as if the whole world is contained in it. Sometimes this housewife is seen as a wife, sometimes a daughter-in-law, sometimes a daughter, sometimes a teacher and sometimes a cook, whose value is known to very few people. How many times, when asked, the family members easily say that they do nothing and are just a housewife. However, during the lockdown, people understood very well what a housewife does. When men shrug off all the household chores by saying ‘I am busy’, citing their jobs, housewives perform many of their responsibilities simultaneously very well. They do multitasking with great ease. Be it children’s school projects or going to the market to bring ration, cleaning the house or cooking different types of dishes in the kitchen. She manages to handle all the household chores easily by coordinating with different household chores. When the husband hands over the monthly expenses to the housewife. So she manages all the expenses very well without complaining. Also, she tries to fulfill the needs of every member of the family with small savings. To be honest, her life is just like a lamp, which burns itself but keeps the light of happiness in the house.
Yes, I follow our religion. And Every person must follow his religion. What we all should follow in life is religion. The practice of moral values is religion. Religion is that sacred ritual which purifies the consciousness. Religion is that element by whose practice a person is able to fulfill his life. Religion is required to maintain humanity in man. If there is no religion, man will perish like directionless clouds wandering in the sky. Religion is required to save man from perishing. Being truthful in mind, speech and action, fulfilling the given promises, not keeping any secret from loved ones, these are the conditions for sticking to the truth. Its benefit is that by always speaking the truth, the reputation and credibility of the person remains intact. Rishis and sages linked such rules, plants, flowers etc. to religion and created rules and traditions for its observance. So that by following it, a person can stay away from many physical and mental diseases and experience spiritual peace. By following religion, one can remain free from diseases. There are many great qualities like truth, non-violence, celibacy, charity, kindness, patience, forgiveness, control of senses and mind, not getting angry, not stealing etc., following which is called religion. This brings order, discipline, perfection and purity in life.
While following my religion, I also worship God every morning after taking bath, go to the temple. Feeding birds, fodder to cows, bread to dogs, all these are included in our religion. Fasting, attending religious gatherings, participating in religious programs have been learnt by us since childhood. Satsang is the only Ganga in which every living being can attain his right goals by taking bath.
It is very important to follow religion in life. Only by following the path of religion can a creature receive the blessings of God and the creator of the universe. Today’s creature is not only getting trapped in the policy of ego, hatred and selfishness, but is also sinking further. In these circumstances, it can be said that the coming time can prove to be painful for humanity, so from now itself every creature should fulfill his duty in the interest of the country, society and religion and bring the divine inspiration of the Vedic texts into practice. First of all, a creature should follow the policy of duty to respect his elders. Serving elders is the biggest religion. Man should always follow religion. By getting close to religion, all the paths open automatically. Man’s attention is focused on God, which brings good results. Therefore, one should not lag behind in following religion.
Someone has said a wonderful thing that change with time or learn to change time, don’t curse compulsions, learn to walk in any situation.
There is a small story. The teacher who was teaching these children in the government school class and while teaching them thought why not talk to the children a little. So he took out a ₹ 100 note from his pocket and showed it to the whole class. . And asked the children that if you get a ₹ 100 note, will you buy it for yourself? All the children gave different answers. The one who was yet to answer was standing on a bench. And he said sir I will bring glasses for my mother. Why are you bringing glasses, your father will buy them. And why would you buy glasses with this money without taking anything for yourself. Because I don’t have a father. Then that child said that my mother, who cleans, makes the mother less visible. Glasses are needed for the mother. The teacher said don’t think that I am giving you a prize. I am paying for glasses for your mother on my behalf. Make a lot of effort to change the circumstances of your home. And come back the day you become a big man. And return this ₹ 100 note to me.
After 20 years the same scene almost repeats history. Classes are going on inside the school. A red light car comes and stops. Collector sir gets down from it. The whole school trembles for fear of being checked. Everyone is on alert. But the collector sir asked the name of a teacher. While teaching, the old teacher sees that the collector is standing in front of me. As soon as the collector comes, he falls straight at his feet and bows down. And keeping ₹ 100 notes in the hand of his old teacher, he says that Sir, you probably did not recognize him. I am your disciple of 20 years old. To whom you gave ₹ 100. Get glasses for his mother. And you said that I am not giving you a reward, but giving you a loan. When it grows up, return it. So today I have come to seek your blessings to repay your loan. Because what you helped me that day inspired me to move forward in life.
So you can change your circumstances. For that you have to have firm determination in your mind. There has to be honesty. That child could have forgotten even after taking ₹ 100. But he remembered the teacher’s words. That he has to return someone else’s money. His honesty made him such a great man.
You must have noticed this, when a new phone comes in the market, you see that it has more features than the old phone. Because the company tries to make the new phone better than the old phone. The thing which is not there in the old phone is added in the new phone. And when a new phone comes in the market, it has more demand. Similarly, don’t run your life in the same pattern. It is very important to change yourself with time.
Don’t cheat anyone in trying to change yourself. Don’t keep anyone’s debt on your head. If you have the determination to repay that loan, then one day or the other you will surely be able to do it.
Always thank God when something happens in life according to your wish. If something happens against your wish, then thank them more because this time it is happening according to their wish. Your life is a mirror of yourself. Your life will be like you are.
God says no circumstances are as big as you are. Human life is full of struggle. If you keep doing your work with hard work and honesty, then there is no problem which will not be solved one day. We should always keep trying till the end whether the result is in our favor or not.
Ofcourse! I still remember life before the Internet. The widespread and deepening use of the Internet has brought many changes to our lives. It affects the increase in supply and access, the changing world of communication, new jobs and business models, hobbies and entertainment, social media, education and student life, simpler and faster delivery and systematic services. The advent of the Internet changed every aspect of our lives, from the way we communicate and learn to the way we shop, work and socialize.
Before the internet, we relied on traditional methods like face-to-face conversations, phone calls, and handwritten letters to connect with each other. Long distance communication often involved expensive international phone calls or sending letters through postal services. It took days or even weeks to reach its destination. In the old days, people used letters, landline phones to communicate. Waiting for a letter or planning a phone call makes relationships more exciting and teaches people to be patient. I remember when we had to wait in line for hours to call from one city to another. We used typewriters to write papers or letters, or we wrote them by hand. If we wanted to read a book, we went to the library and looked it up, or went to the bookstore and bought it. There were no e-readers or digital downloads. People who grew up before the internet was a big deal had a different life.
We have sometimes told our children how lucky we were to have spent our childhood days on a farm. We made tunnels in mowed grass, played with calves and cats, caught fish in ponds, farmed in sandboxes, and learned so much about animals, crops, weather, and nature. Our entertainment options were not limited to shiny rectangles, no PUB G, no idiot box, but we enjoyed the thrill of sports, the magic of movie theaters, and the simple joys of pursuing hobbies that didn’t involve screens.
At that time, TV, radio and newspapers were the main means of getting information and entertainment for people. Earlier, people used to get excited about the scheduled shows. Since there were not many options earlier, everyone used to read or watch almost the same things. There were not many things to do for entertainment at that time. People mainly preferred watching TV, listening to radio, reading books or playing outside. And families often sat together to watch TV, which made them feel a special bond among their loved ones. Also, local programs were a big part of people’s entertainment. At that time, people really enjoyed talking to each other in person. They loved going to community events, parties together for socializing and it was the best way to get to know their neighbors and make friends. Since there were no online platforms at that time friendships grew by talking face to face and not just through likes on the screen.
It used to be difficult to find information. Libraries had a lot of useful stuff, but it was not easy to find information on unusual topics. Since there were no search engines back then, learning new things required a lot of time and effort. Life before the internet is a distant memory. The internet may have given us something, but it is important to remember that it has taken away the beauty of human relationships. There were not as many fun things to do for entertainment as we have now in today’s digital age. In the olden days, waiting for a TV show every week or getting excited for a new book to come out made free time more special. So waiting for entertainment was a big part of the fun for people back then.
Today, there are lakhs of recipes available on the internet, but in the olden days, the food cooked by mother and grandmother was no less than that of a five star hotel. Today’s children eat new dishes every day, yet they never get satisfied. But earlier we used to eat curd, milk and whatever fruits were available. We did not have any food options, so we used to wait for food. But today’s children suffer from thousands of diseases even after getting so many things. Because they keep their eyes glued to the screen all the time. But in those days, we used to go out to play every day. Whether it was scorching sun or rain, it did not matter to us. Every day we used to wait for a new day.Whenever I got my photograph taken, I was filled with joy after seeing it. Even today, when I remember my childhood, I get filled with excitement. How simple was life before the internet.
I am good at cooking. Cooking has always been my hobby. I love cooking because it gives me the pleasure of doing things for others. I love cooking because it keeps me happy in my life. Whenever I feel sad or upset, cooking comes in handy to a great extent for me. I started cooking when I was 6 years old, I feel happy when I cook food for others and see the satisfaction on their faces. Another reason for liking cooking is that I like the different expressions expressed by my friends and family when I ask them to taste my food. Ever since I have learned cooking, I cook delicious food and everyone at home praises my food. If any guest comes at home then I cook different types of dishes. While cooking I use all the ingredients that make the food delicious. I keep all the ingredients to make delicious food in my house. Cooking is a highly creative hobby. You can create your own recipes, make changes to famous recipes, mix up your favourite dishes, your creative juices will be in full flow. You can choose your own ingredients and do exactly what you like. People who often work on small, creative projects like baking or cooking feel more relaxed and happy in their everyday lives. Taking your mind off work and focusing on cooking can be calming and relaxing. If you find cooking stressful, it may be because you don’t have a passion for it.
Our hobbies or habits define our nature to a large extent. This is done through psychology. According to an article published in The Mind Journal, if you like cooking, then you can be creative, innovative. Along with this, you have the ability to solve problems. If you ask me what I do in my free time or how I relax myself or how I enjoy my weekend after working for the whole week? So almost every question will have the same answer – by cooking. I like cooking in my free time, because it is no less than a stress buster for me. In the same way, I also like cleaning my house, decorating it, etc. I am very fond of eating. I like trying new and different cuisines, reading and writing about food and gaining information and as a result of this, I also like cooking. Both these things are my hobbies, which I do happily and for my happiness. When I don’t feel like doing anything, I don’t do either of them.
What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
If someone says that I have achieved everything then it is just a false statement.Because man today can never achieve perfection in this dazzling world. What is the meaning of life? How can I find purpose, fulfillment and satisfaction in life? Can I find something of lasting significance? Many people never stop thinking about these important questions. They look back for years wondering why they feel so empty even though they have achieved everything they set out to achieve. In our humanistic culture, people pursue many goals thinking that they will find meaning in them. Some of these pursuits include business success, wealth, good relationships, sex, entertainment, being good to others, and so on. People have testified that even when they have achieved their goals of wealth, relationships and happiness, there is still a deep void inside them, a feeling of emptiness that nothing seems to fill. You can achieve almost anything in life as long as you focus on achieving one thing at a time. It’s a time-tested strategy shared by many successful people.
As long as a man considers his relationship with the world, he considers it to be from the pleasures of his senses and from wife, son, family etc., satisfaction and contentment from wealth. But his love, satisfaction and contentment in this is neither complete nor continuous. When a man is satisfied, only then he can recognize how much he has got and as a result of this feeling, a feeling of gratitude awakens in him. Gratitude and self-satisfaction are called devotion towards God. Lord Shri Krishna has said in the Gita that the mind is called fickle because it is never satisfied. As soon as one satisfaction is achieved, double dissatisfaction stands in front. This breaks concentration, we reach the goal and start wandering in the middle. To tell the truth, sorrow and happiness are the experiences of the mind. Those who accept this world as happiness, such people remain happy throughout their lives. This is because such wise people accept that the world is as it is. No change can be brought about in the world by someone’s wish. We cannot change the world.
In life, we all must have experienced that despite having all kinds of pleasures and luxuries, the mind remains restless. Happiness and peace are not found even in wealth, property and prosperity. There is more unrest. The reason for this is that the nature of matter is of pleasure and happiness, while the quality and nature of the mind is of peace and satisfaction. The mind will be peaceful only when it is satisfied. An unsatisfied mind cannot be peaceful. When we move towards peace through sadhana, then our connection with the objects of pleasure is severed. Just as a tortoise withdraws its limbs into its shell, similarly when we withdraw ourselves into ourselves, then we experience peace.
We usually talk to everyone, but for the past few days I am waiting for a chance to talk to my friend. The thing is that my friend lives in Africa and she is doing a job there. She is my childhood friend. It has been happening for the past few days that whenever I think of calling her, she is already asleep. And when she messages me asking whether to call or not, I am busy. Last Sunday, we had decided through messages that on the coming Sunday we will talk to our heart’s content. When both of us are on the call, we do not even know about the time.
While living in this world, we maintain so many important relationships. For so many relationships, we put all our wishes, happiness, money, respect, everything at stake. But sometimes it is seen that we can only say what is in our heart to our friends. Because friendship is a relationship based on trust. A true friend always gives you the right advice, worries about you and is happy in your happiness. True friendship can be defined as mutual unconditional love. This is a different kind of love from the love you get from your family or your partner. True friends show unconditional love and do not expect anything in return. Friendship is the most beautiful relationship in the world. A true friend gives a new path to our life. But often we lose our precious friend due to small mistakes or blunders. Everyone wants to be drenched in the fragrance of friendship. There is no rule, no ritual and no bond in this relationship. Everything is received without asking for it. Perhaps that is why it is better to keep it away from selfishness.
We love all our things. But there are some things which are dear to us the most. I too have some things which I am very fond of. In my childhood, my grandfather gave me a gold ring which I still like very much. Now it does not fit my finger but I have kept it till date. The jewellery which my mother gave me at the time of my marriage is also very dear to me. At the time of my marriage, my mother gave me a sheet on which she had embroidered it with her own hands. I have kept it safely till date.
After marriage, when we went to Darjeeling for the first time, I bought a shawl from there. I still like it very much and I have kept it carefully. There are many other things which I have kept carefully, but the most important for me are the cards which my children made for me on my birthday when they were small with their tiny hands. After 30 years, I have kept them very well.

Today’s question is the most thrilling for me. I ask myself this question sometimes. How will people remember me? In this world, thousands of people are born and thousands die every day. But only those people are remembered who leave something behind that people are forced to remember. Our relatives and our own people remember us. But you can become an example only when strangers also remember you.
In the world we live in today, if there is one thing that is most important then it is our behavior. Behavior is first recognize by our speech. Speech contains both nectar and poison. If we behave sweetly then people around us are attracted towards us with love and they also listen to us and respect our thoughts. Be good with the good but not bad with the bad, because a diamond can be carved with a diamond but mud cannot be cleaned with mud. I remember a story on this which I had read in my childhood and today I am sharing it with you.
Once upon a time, Saint Tukaram was sitting in his ashram when one of his disciples, who was a little short-tempered by nature, came to him and said, Guruji, how do you keep your behavior so sweet? You neither get angry at anyone nor say anything bad to anyone. Please tell me the secret of your good behavior. The saint said, I don’t know about my secret but I know your secret. My secret! What is that, Guruji? The disciple asked in surprise. You are going to die in the next one week, Saint Tukaram said sadly. If someone else had said it, the disciple could have dismissed it as a joke, but how could anyone deny the words coming from the mouth of Saint Tukaram himself. The disciple became sad and went from there after taking the blessings of the Guru. From that time onwards, the nature of the disciple changed completely. He used to meet everyone with love and never got angry at anyone. He used to spend most of his time in meditation and worship. He would also go to those with whom he had ever behaved badly. He would apologize to them.
Soon, one week of the prophecy of the saint was about to complete. The disciple thought, let me take the blessings of the Guru by meeting him for the last time. He reached before him and said, Guruji, my time is about to end. Please bless me. My blessings are always with you son, well, first tell me how the last seven days went. Did you get angry with people like before? Did you abuse them? Saint Tukaram asked. No-no, absolutely not. I had only seven days to live. How could I waste them in useless things? I met everyone with love. I also apologized to those whom I had hurt, the disciple said promptly. Saint Tukaram smiled and said, this is the secret of my good behavior. I know that I can die anytime. That is why I treat everyone with love. This is the secret of my good behavior. The disciple understood that Saint Tukaram had shown him the fear of death only to teach him this lesson of life. He vowed to remember this lesson in his mind and moved forward on the path shown by the Guru.
In fact, our behavior is such a weapon, by using which we remain alive in the memories of people even after leaving this world. If you want your life journey to continue moving towards success without any hindrance, then for that, the way we expect behavior for ourselves, we should behave with others in the same way. Try to implement all these facts in your life. Therefore, sweetness of speech holds a prominent place in behavior. You may be good at heart but if your language is not good and sweet, then the work done by you is wasted. Often, if people do not behave well, then we also have to face physical and mental torture. In that situation, we should not get angry, but should control ourselves. In today’s era, the importance of nature can be easily understood. This is also the Guru Mantra of life. You should pay more attention to the beauty of your behavior than the beauty of your face and body. Your life will become enjoyable for you and unforgettable and inspirational for others.
But we are ordinary human beings, not some great saint, that is why the behavior of the other person can change our behavior. For example, I will give my own example. I cannot say that my behavior is very good, only those who know me can tell this. But there is an instant reaction in my behavior. I react very quickly to the person who talks or behaves with me. As you know, in our society, women are abused verbally and symbolically in many ways. At such times, my behavior changes. I become extremely angry and aggressive, my patience leaves me and I react immediately. At such times, my behavior is not my own, it is a reflection of the behavior of the other person. This behaviour or nature of mine is not my permanent behaviour but my identity is that I have the courage to oppose the wrong. Hence, in my view, our behaviour depends a lot on the circumstances, work-field, environment around us, people and it is possible that such behaviour of ours may not be permanent and may not be our identity. To consider someone’s identity by his behaviour and that behaviour, a person cannot be understood and known by just one thing, one has to live a whole life to understand someone’s behaviour and to make an identity. Good behaviour or say conduct is the wealth earned by a man, which he should not only share but should also keep on increasing it day by day as much as possible.because Good behavior is the key to every lock.
