Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
Yes, lazy days make me feel relaxed or unproductive. I feel relaxed on lazy days. I am used to doing something all the time. But I feel tired on lazy days. I feel tired all day and I don’t feel like doing anything. I postpone every task. But after one or two days, I feel that I should not be lazy anymore. This thought of mine brings new energy to my body. And I become alert towards my work again.
Continuous workload makes us physically and mentally tired. There are some people who ignore this fatigue and keep doing their work. But such people have to face physical and mental problems later. Laziness is also an activity of our body. We should accept it. But some people are lazy forever. This is not a good thing, but sometimes accepting laziness and taking rest can be beneficial for us.
When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
When I think about the word “successful”, the first question that comes to my mind is what do people call success. Because in my view the criteria of success is different. There are many people in the world who have set an example by achieving success. But are those people feeling happy from within, or did they feel happy? Success is something that is not achieved only by hard work, luck is also very important for it. We have heard people say that work hard, success will come automatically. But there are many people who have spent their whole life working hard but could not achieve success. And even those who have achieved success, they still have to face new problems every day.
In my opinion, a successful person is one who taught people how to live. Gautam Buddha is one of them. He has taught people peace while facing difficulties in his life. There are many things said by Gautam Buddha that can completely change your life. By following the principles of Buddha, you can learn how to live life. This has nothing to do with religion, but Buddha’s teachings are the same for everyone. His words teach you to be honest, kind and strong.
According to Buddha, a person becomes what he thinks. If a person speaks or acts with bad thoughts, he only gets pain. On the other hand, if a person speaks or acts with pure thoughts, he gets happiness in life. This happiness never leaves him like his shadow. Mahatma Gautam Buddha has said that it is better to win over oneself than to win thousands of battles in life. If you win over yourself, then victory will always be yours. No one can take it away from you. Gautam Buddha says that a person can never eliminate evil with evil. To eliminate it, a person has to take the help of love. Every big thing in the world can be won with love. According to Mahatma Buddha, do not get entangled in dreaming about the future. It is better to live in your present than to regret by remembering the past. This is the best way to be happy. Just as a burning lamp gives light to thousands of people, in the same way, sharing happiness increases love among each other. According to Buddha, happiness always increases by sharing. It never decreases. According to Buddha, one should fear a deceitful and evil friend more than a wild animal. A wild animal can harm your body, but a bad friend can harm your intellect.
That is why Buddha is great in my eyes. Because if a person follows the principles of Buddha then he will definitely be successful.
When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
The days of youth pass by playing and you don’t even realize it. When I stepped into youth after childhood, it seemed as if the whole world was carefree for me. Having fun with friends in college and then helping my mother with household chores, studying and sleeping, this was my life. When I got married and came to my in-laws’ house for the first time, I suddenly felt that I have grown up now. However, my mother had not explained to me that one has to take responsibilities after going to the in-laws’ house, because she knew that her daughter would handle everything on her own. I used to wake up late on holidays at home and got ready after taking a bath at 5:00 in the morning. There was sleep in my eyes but responsibility in my mind. By night I wrote a letter to my mother. It was something like this.
My dear mother, I have left your home. What should I tell you what all I have left behind in your house. As soon as I stepped on the threshold of my in-laws’ house, I have left my childhood behind.I have brought along all the etiquette, manners, but I have left my carefree, carefree laughter behind. The blessings you had given me at the time of departure, I have brought them along with me. But I have left my father’s hand behind. The city is new, the customs seem different here. I have left the dupatta flying in the breeze behind. Now I tie these locks tightly due to the heat, I have left many stories of those open locks behind. The name Bahu(daughter in law) has a lot of power but I have left the pain of the word daughter behind. We had a small kingdom where everything from morning tea to dinner was as per our wish. But i have left our rule behind. Papa had gifted us Ramayan at our wedding, it said Sita is in it, so i brought that along,But i left behind thousands of stories heard from Grandma.i brought countless mannerisms in our tone, But i left behind my blunt tongue which used to seem very much like my own with my brothers and sisters.I often fall into deep sleep at night,i left behind the carefree sleepless nights wrapped in responsibilities. And this house of ours is very beautiful, But i left behind a whole world for this world. The first day at my in-laws house was when I felt I had grown up.
If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
First of all, I pray to God that if I get a lot of money, I can do good to people. Because when money comes, it also brings things like greed and pride with it. Today there are a lot of rich people in the world but not everyone can do good for others. One needs to have courage to donate money to someone.
I will donate a significant portion of my money to reputable charities and non-profit organizations. This will support causes such as education, healthcare, environmental protection and poverty alleviation to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people in need.so I wish I could muster up the strength to donate a million dollars.
What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.
When you work towards achieving something in life, many things can go wrong. Some things don’t go as planned and thus, they reflect badly on you in terms of chances of failure in your work. But if I am given a guarantee of not failing, then I would definitely want to do something which I have been dreaming about for many days.
Whatever country we live in, we all want that there should be development and peace there. So if I am assured that I will not fail, then I will definitely try to do something big for my country. I live in India and every day there is unrest here due to caste. First of all, I would like to eradicate this caste discrimination. There are so many educated youths here who do not get jobs because none of their relatives are able to recommend them. I will try to get justice for those youths. Women are still being insulted again and again in India. I will try that they get full right to live with respect. Whoever tries to do wrong with them should be punished in such a way that others get scared after seeing it. Continuous development of the country is necessary but first of all it is necessary to change the mentality of the people. I will try to make the mentality of the people healthy. I would want to change people if I was guaranteed not to fail.
What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?
If a person wants to achieve success, then he has to set some goal. Setting a goal helps you focus on the next step and move forward in the direction you want. The body follows the mind, so we must stay focused, and not lose motivation.
I have also set a goal to reduce my weight. Although I have always been paying attention to my weight. But due to a surgery a few days ago, I could not pay attention to my body. Due to this, my weight has increased a lot now. For some days, I was having a lot of difficulty in getting up and sitting. If I have to walk a little more, I start getting breathless. So I thought that if I do not pay attention to my weight now, it will become difficult for me to move around. So I started intermittent fasting. I searched a lot about it. But when I started doing it myself, I felt that it is really an amazing thing. Now I can easily fast for 16 hours. And in 8 hours I enjoy my favorite food. But it is not that I eat everything unhealthy. I definitely take fruits, salad juice, curd and cheese in my diet. I do not have any fixed time to eat all these things. I just have to eat all these things within 8 hours. In the initial days, I used to feel that I would not be able to stay there, but now slowly I have got used to it for the last 3 months. Yes, I do keep one cheat day. And I do not follow any diet on that day. Usually my fasting window is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 am. But on cheat days, I meet my friends at night. Or sometimes I go out with family. At that time, I like to eat at a good restaurant. At present, this is the most difficult goal for me. If I am able to achieve it, then I will probably be very happy.
We all like some artist. Like someone is a good singer, someone is a good dancer, someone acts very beautifully, etc. There is a special artist who created all these artists in this world and that is God. I don’t see any greater artist than him. God imagined the universe with his imaginative mind and then brought it into existence. God created the sky, the earth, and everything in them.
God is called the storehouse of beauty and the ocean of happiness. He has worked immensely in creating this world and has also shown his artistry. If he had not created anything, hardly anyone would have known him. Man, that is, us, is the best creation of God. He has exhausted his artistry in making and carving it. If we consider the structure and functioning of each part of the body, then it is known that even all the scientists of the world together cannot make a perfect replica of any one organ created by God. The structure of the entire nature is like a magic palace. It is astonishing to see the resources available in the hands of man. Creation is the biggest sign of one’s power and dignity. The greater the construction work done by a person in this world, the more he is appreciated. Whoever has created something useful among humans, who has incorporated art and beauty in his creations, is always remembered for his commendable works. Man was not created just to show the best artwork of God, rather he has been created as a resourceful being so that he can contribute to make this creation fragrant, well-organized, beautiful and prosperous. His actions should be such that it becomes possible to transform disorder into order, disorder into decency, inferiority into excellence, ugliness into beauty. This has been the divine purpose of creating his replica in the form of man and incorporating all his art in him.and We are all examples of God’s artwork.
Every person has some hobby or the other which he likes to do in his free time. I too like to learn something in my free time. Like knitting. I started knitting while I was in school and I loved knitting during class.Knitting is my favorite hobby. I feel very satisfied when I finish a sweater.Though I know how to make sweaters, but nowadays the fashion of hand knitted sweaters has come back and new designs are being made. I am fond of making sweaters and making children wear them. And my children too become very happy wearing the sweaters made by me. I also keep Laddu Gopal in my house. I feel happy in making new sweaters for him and making him wear them.
