  • budget means saving

Write about your approach to budgeting.

Saving is an important financial practice in which a person balances his income and expenditure and saves extra money for the future.  By saving, a person increases financial security and avoids disproportionate expenditure. You should know that if you make a household budget, you can save a lot of money from getting wasted.  With this you can also estimate the exact cost of things.  Budgeting means more than just keeping track of all household expenses. Family budgets are usually created to help an individual or family control their spending and achieve their financial goals.  Budgeting can help people feel more in control of their finances and make it easier for them not to overspend and save money.

A budget is an account of probable income and expenditure.  It ensures the financial security of the family, helps an individual or family to control their expenses and make good use of the available income by preventing wastage.  Budget is also important from the point of view of achieving the financial goals of the family and controlling the expenditure. From the financial point of view, budget means planning to spend your money, while expenditure plan is budget.  Creating an expense plan allows you to determine whether you will have enough money to perform the activities you want to do and prioritize your work expenses accordingly. Creating a budget also ensures that  How much money will we spend at a particular place so that we can save as much money as possible to meet our needs.  Therefore, setting a budget is helpful in achieving financial goals.

If you prepare a budget of your income and expenditure, it tells you how to manage your money, and this is also important.

  • patriotism is a tender feeling

    February 16th, 2024

Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

Yes, I am a patriot. And in my view everyone should be a patriot. Otherwise he will be called a traitor. Patriotism is a feeling of pride.  No person will be ready to accept that he is not a patriot.

For me, being a patriot means a feeling of loyalty towards one’s nation.  We can call a person who has a self-dying feeling towards his nation a true patriot.  The appropriate contribution that is given to protect the independence of our nation, to protect our countrymen and to help in the continuous and overall development of the country, we can call it patriotism.  Standing at attention during the national anthem, respecting national symbols and celebrating national festivals with great pomp and show is patriotism.

Patriotism is something to do for the country, every moment in your job or your life you can do something that reflects patriotism.  For example, during the Corona pandemic, the patriotism with which Corona Warriors like doctors, police, health workers, teachers etc. laid down their lives for the public with their hard work, devotion to duty and spirit of service is unique.

If someone wants to be a true patriot then he cannot be dishonest, cannot be corrupt. True patriotism is not only in celebration and cheering, but in doing what the country needs very much. Having a feeling of patriotism among the countrymen makes the country stronger.  Becomes more developed.  Our nation is like a mother to us.
We should keep doing something or the other for our motherland. Just as we respect our mother, we should also respect our motherland. People who have respect for the country, such people always contribute to the economic growth of the country.  And think only about social progress.  Patriots work to remove problems like corruption and poverty from the country. Patriotism is not one-sided.  That you will continue to love the country in which you are born and whose citizens you are, in every situation, even if it means oppression of you or your citizens, and you will continue to pretend to love.  Speaking against that oppression is also patriotism. There are patriotic people in every country who always represent their motherland in the best way in front of the world.  Everyone loves, respects and appreciates a patriot and their sacrifice for the country makes them immortal.

Patriotism does not always mean fighting, being violent and sacrificing one’s life to defend the country from external attacks.  It also includes passionate work for the countrymen, true love and showing honest feelings towards the country.

A patriot is one who has respect, loyalty and devotion towards his nation and has strong support for the motherland.  This will be the indicator of our real patriotism.

  • what is the story of Gangaur?

    February 9th, 2024

It is very important to tell the story of Gangaur in Gangaur Puja.

Lord Shankar and Parvati ji set out on a journey with Narad ji.  While walking, they reached a village on the day of Chaitra Shukla Tritiya.  Hearing the news of his arrival, the best noble women of the village started preparing delicious food to welcome him.  There was a lot of delay in preparing the food but the women from the ordinary clan reached there for worship with turmeric and Akshat in the plates before the women from the noble clan.  Parvati ji accepted his offer of worship and sprinkled all the nectar on him.  She returned after getting the blessing of getting an eternal marriage.  Later, women from high castes came to worship Gauri ji and Shankar ji with various dishes.  Seeing them, Lord Shankar said to Parvati ji, ‘You have given all the marital bliss only to women from ordinary families.  What will you give them now? Parvat ji replied, ‘Prannath, don’t worry about it.  I have given those women only juice made from superficial substances.  But I will cut my finger and give the nectar of my blood to these high caste women.  Whoever gets this sweet nectar will be as fortunate as me in body and mind.  When the women finished worshiping, Parvati ji cut off her finger and sprinkled it on them, whoever sprinkled it got the same match.  Women have been observing this fast since ancient times for unbroken good fortune.

After this, with the permission of Lord Shiva, Parvati ji took bath on the river bank and started worshiping him by making Mahadev of sand.  After the worship, make a dish made of sand and offer it to Lord Shiva.  After this, she circumambulated, applied tilak on her forehead with soil from the river bank, took the prasad of two grains of sand and returned back to Lord Shiva. Parvati ji was very late at the river bank during all this worship etc.  So Mahadev ji asked him the reason for coming late.  On this, Parvati ji said – ‘My brothers, brothers-in-law and other maternal relatives were found there, there was a delay in talking to them. But God was God after all.  Perhaps he wanted to create something else.  So he asked – ‘What did you offer after worshiping and what prasad did you get?’ Parvati ji replied – ‘My sister-in-law fed me milk and rice.  After eating that, I am coming straight here.’  Hearing this, Lord Shiva also started towards the river bank in the greed of eating milk and rice.  Parvati ji was in dilemma.  They thought that now the whole story would be revealed.  Therefore, he silently meditated on Lord Shiva and prayed, ‘O Lord!  If I am your exclusive maid, then you protect my dignity at this time.

Praying like this, Parvati ji also started following Shankar ji.  They had just walked a short distance when they saw a beautiful Maya palace on the banks of the river.  When they reached inside the palace, they saw that Shivaji’s brother-in-law and Salhaj etc. were present there along with their families.  He welcomed Shankar-Parvati with great love. They stayed there for two days and were greatly welcomed.  On the third day, when Parvati ji asked Shankar ji to go, he was not ready.  They wanted to stay longer.  Parvati ji got upset and went alone.  Then Shankar ji was forced to go with Parvati.  Narad ji also went along.  All three went far away while walking.  Since it was evening, Lord Bhaskar was reaching his abode.  Then Shiv ji suddenly said to Parvati – ‘I have forgotten my garland in your mother’s house.

Parvati ji said – ‘Okay, I will bring it.’  But Lord Shiva did not allow him to go.  For this work he sent Brahma’s son Narad ji there.  When Narad ji went there and saw, he could not see even a trace of the palace.  There was a dense forest far and wide.

Narad ji was very surprised to see this dark and scary environment.  Narad ji started wandering there and started wondering whether he had come to a wrong place?  Suddenly lightning flashed and Narad ji saw the garland hanging on a tree.  Narad ji took off the garland and in a frightened state, quickly came to Shiv ji and narrated the details of his calamity to Shiv ji.

Hearing this incident, Lord Shiva said laughingly – ‘O sage!  Whatever scene you saw is the unique illusion of Parvati.  She wanted to keep the matter of her funeral a secret from you, so she lied.  Then to prove it true, he created Maya Mahal with the power of his Pativrata Dharma.  Therefore, to highlight the truth, I also sent you to that place again to bring the rosary.

On this Parvatiji said- ‘What am I worthy of?’

Then Narad ji bowed his head and said – ‘Mother!  You are the best among the devoted.  You are fortunate Adishakti.  All this is the effect of your patriotism.  The women of the world can attain eternal good fortune and can create and destroy all attainments just by remembering your name.  Then what is this big deal for you? Oh Mother!  Secret worship is more powerful and economical.  As far as hiding the incident arising out of the influence of their husbands is concerned.  That also seems appropriate because worship should be done secretly.  I am very happy to see your spirit and miraculous power.

This is my blessing – ‘Those women who secretly worship their husbands and pray for their well-being, will get the blessings of Mahadev Ji and will get a long-lived husband and all their wishes will be fulfilled.  Then the women who worship you with devotion today will definitely get good fortune.

Saying this, Narad ji bowed down and went to Devlok and Shiv ji and Parvati ji started towards Kailash.  Since Goddess Parvati observed this fast secretly, according to the same tradition even today women observe this fast secretly from men.  This is the reason why women have been observing this fast since ancient times for continuous good fortune.

  • Religious and scientific reasons for observing Mauni Amavasya?

    February 8th, 2024

Mauni Amavasya is the biggest bathing festival of the month of Magh. According to the scriptures, Rishi Manu was born on this day, hence it is also called Mauni Amavasya.  It is believed that worshiping God silently on this day gives special results.  It is very auspicious to worship Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu on this day.  This day is considered very special to get the blessings of ancestors.  It is believed that remaining silent on this day gives self-confidence.  Mauni is derived from the word Muni. Bathing on Mauni Amavasya is said to be the best among all other bathing festivals.  On the special auspicious period of Mauni Amavasya, there are special provisions for charity, charity and bathing for self-salvation and for the salvation of ancestors, as described in the scriptures.  By donating on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, the pain of the negative planets is mitigated, due to which happiness and prosperity reside in the house throughout the year.  According to the description found in the scriptures, donating on this day removes all types of sins and cures all types of ailments and diseases.  Amavasya of Magh month has special significance, on this day all the wishes of charity and bathing in holy rivers are fulfilled and there is happiness and peace in life.

Whom to worship on the day of Mauni Amavasya?

There is a tradition to perform Rudrabhishek of Shankarji on the festival of Mauni Amavasya.  On the day of Amavasya, there is a meeting of Sun and Moon, the Moon sets before the Sun, on Amavasya, donating white items related to the Moon like sugar, rice, milk, curd etc., the Moon becomes favourable, the donor gets mental peace and  Gets success.  After bathing, it is important to donate cow, food, clothes, gold, silver etc. or any other accessible item.  After donation, worship Shri Tulji, Shankarji, Parvatiji with devotion along with the rituals and circumambulate the Peepal tree 108 times. The word ‘Muni’ has its origin from the word ‘Muni’, hence the person who completes this fast by observing silence attains the status of ‘Muni’.  On this day, bathing in the Ganges and donating Dakshina have special significance. Purity of speech is essential for spiritual progress.  Speech is controlled and purified through silence.  That is why silence has been prescribed in our scriptures.  Speaking excessively has adverse effects on the brain and its organs.  This is the reason why people who give long speeches keep drinking water in between the speeches.  Those who perform religious activities, recite mantras, chant etc. consume ghee so that their voice does not break or their throat does not get choked etc.  Rishis, sages and thinkers meditate while remaining silent.  This increases their mental energy.  By working in silence, the sense organs and action organs get concentrated and the work gets done smoothly.  There is a rule to work in silence even in various religious functions. From the scientific point of view, the same amount of energy a person spends in physically laboring for eight hours is equal to the energy wasted in speaking for one hour.  Whereas a person doing mental work loses that much energy in two hours.  The main reason for this is that when we speak, there is vibration through the air in the oral cavity.  This vibration also vibrates the arteries, veins, veins and muscles related to the oral cavity.  As a result, pain etc. disorders arise in the brain.  The throat becomes dry which increases the risk of throat related diseases.  According to science, speaking less or remaining silent is beneficial for the body.  People who talk a lot also suffer from BP and heart related diseases.

What is the religious importance of silence?

By remaining silent all the wishes are fulfilled.  Such a seeker attains Shivlok.  The person who chants mantras, remembers God etc. while remaining silent, his results are innumerable times greater.  The importance of mental worship has also been mentioned in the scriptures.  The scripture writers have counted silence as one of the five tapas of the mind.  These five austerities of the mind are happiness, gentle nature, silence, self-control and pure thoughts.  In this, silence has a central place. It is believed that remaining silent gives self-confidence. Purity of speech is essential for spiritual progress.  Speech is controlled and purified through silence.

A person is identified by his sweet speech.  Man expresses his thoughts and feelings through his speech.  It is believed that those who remain silent on the day of Mauni Amavasya and do not speak anything on this day.  By doing this their speech gets purified and their respect and prestige in the society increases.  Besides, success can be achieved in every work due to the influence of speech.  Remaining silent calms a person’s mind and it becomes easier to meditate with a calm mind for spiritual attainment.  According to the scriptures, by observing a fast of silence, a person can achieve his goal by self-realization and also finds the path to salvation. The glory of silence is immense.  Silence suppresses anger, controls speech, increases body strength, determination, self-confidence, gives peace to the mind and gives rest to the brain, hence silence has been called a fast.  We all have limited life force.  Only the one who uses it sparingly can get its full benefit.  One who does not control his speech, his unnecessary words drain the life force.  Therefore, become a worshiper of silence, try to purify your mind by adopting silence.

    How to maintain silence?

Follow these rules while keeping a silent fast on the day of Mauni Amavasya
If you want to remain silent on the day of Mauni Amavasya, then wake up early in the morning and take a pilgrimage bath.
If you cannot take a pilgrimage bath, then take a bath at home by adding Ganga water to the bath water. After taking bath etc., take a pledge to keep the fast of silence. Once you have taken the resolution of keeping the fast of silence, then do not speak anything otherwise your fast will break.  Will be broken. Break your silent fast only after the date of Mauni Amavasya ends.  According to religious belief, the fast of silence should be broken by speaking in the name of God only.On this day, one remains silent from sunrise to sunset and abstains from food. In the afternoon, along with worshiping the ancestors, offerings are made to dogs and crows.

The mind is considered to be fickle and it not only thinks about some topic throughout the day but also expresses the thoughts coming to mind in the form of words.  Real silence happens when a person stops thinking, that is, no good or bad thoughts come to the mind, this is considered to be the ultimate state of silence.  Only when this happens, contact with God is established and energy is received from Him.  Indian sages and Maharshi were not only worshipers but were also high class scholars and scientists.  He implemented the method of every puja and made it acceptable to the public only after making it pass the test of science.  If you understand the meaning of the word silence to be silence then it is wrong.  Silence is not just about speech but is also internal.  By silence of speech we can control only the words but if there is inner silence then we will be able to control the thoughts also.
