What book could you read over and over again?
Srimad Bhagavad Gita is my favorite book. I can read Srimad Bhagavad Gita thousands of times.Geeta has the highest place in Indian culture. The verses of Gita jingle like the chimes of a veena in the innermost being of Indian saints and ascetics. From story-sermons to door-to-door sermons on life improvement and whatever knowledge of rules and regulations is given, the light of Gita definitely falls somewhere or the other. There is hardly any place on earth which is free from the influence of Geeta. The land of India has become blessed by his touch.
Geeta can be called a precious poetry that explains religion and spirituality. If the essence of all the scriptures can be found gathered at one place, then that place is – Geeta. The ignorant person attains good knowledge by taking bath in the knowledge of Gita – Gangotri. The sinner is freed from the heat of sin and crosses the ocean of the world. Geeta is a short booklet that presents spiritual contemplation as well as instructions for public behavior in very simple and interesting verses, which teaches the art of living a stress-free life. , explains the cycle of life-death, the verses of Bhagavad Gita tell us about our duties as human beings. Reading Srimad Bhagavad Gita helps us understand the importance of self-control and how to practice it. The teachings of Bhagavad Gita tell us how to practice selfless action or action without desire. Its essence is that all the gods in the world are manifestations of the same God, all the qualities and vices of man are the result of the power of God. There are only forms. The purpose of Geeta is to clarify the knowledge of God, knowledge of soul and knowledge of creation. Geeta is actually the biggest and best scripture for character building. Through this, God has said that character will be formed by living in the world like a lotus flower and by doing good deeds, and not by leaving home and doing renunciation of deeds. A person reading Geeta gets the knowledge of truth and lie, God and living beings. Is. He understands good and bad. Reading Geeta increases a person’s self-confidence and the person becomes courageous and fearless and moves forward on the path of his duty. Reading Geeta daily develops positive energy in body and mind.
Why is Geeta called mother?
Geeta has also been called mother. This is because just as a mother shows the way to her children to reach the pinnacle of greatness by loving them and improving them, in the same way Geeta also provides peace to the devotees who sing its songs. It gives good education to humans and inspires them to move forward on the path of becoming Narayan from a human being. While singing Geeta, man enters that world of emotions, where he receives supernatural knowledge, light and infinite joy. Because this has been said from the lotus mouth of Lord Krishna himself. It has also been said that the more one studies Gita, the more one discovers new sources to make life great. Whatever elements are necessary to make a human being perfect, all are present in Geeta.
Geeta is like Kamdhenu which solves all types of problems and removes all sorrows. That is why Mahatma Gandhi used to say – When I am troubled by problems, I go into the lap of Geeta Mata. Where I get solutions to all the problems. In this way, Geeta is like a mother not only for Hindus but also for other sects, who solves the problems of every son who takes refuge in her. It is neither a scripture nor a book. She is the mother who gives shade to everyone and the light of knowledge.
From Gita, a person learns not to lose courage in the face of unrighteousness but to fight fearlessly even with his own people when necessary to protect the religion. The life of a person who reads and listens to Gita carefully is not just a body but a ‘soul’. One becomes one who lives at the level of a person. The great lesson that we get from Geeta about making a person selfless by making him understand the importance of karma is well known. ‘Don’t worry about the results’, just do your work. This saying is easy to read and write but it is a difficult penance to implement it in life. One who has completed this penance definitely ceases to be an ordinary human being and thus becomes a source of inspiration for others too.
Probably every person knows this very well that a living being takes birth as a human being after wandering in eighty-four lakh species. In such a situation, it is our utmost duty not to get so engrossed in worldly activities that we forget the ultimate goal. Human birth is higher than insects, birds, animals, trees and viruses, because in this we can make it successful by acting wisely. There is no such problem of life, there is no such area where the importance of Geeta has been tarnished. From ancient times till today’s ‘modern’ era, this great scripture has established its influence everywhere. We often see that great people Those who are not afraid of anyone, are always afraid of the immutable truth like death. This fear keeps haunting them every moment that what if we die? Sometimes not being able to fulfill responsibilities scares us, sometimes the wealth accumulated throughout life scares us. The momentary relations of this world that are left behind after death, the sorrow of separation from loved ones, the prestige earned, respect, the worry of not being able to enjoy the happiness that comes from money and the sadness generated by it or in fact this fear is so much. It becomes terrible that leave alone dying peacefully, many people are not even able to live peacefully. If we take the basis of Geeta, we will find that it teaches us that death is inevitable, it is the only truth and it is the body that dies, not the soul. The soul is immortal, immortal and indestructible. The lesson to make a person aware of this truth and to rise above the body and live life like a festival and to be fearless and ready for death at any moment, comes from Geeta only.
