    June 5th, 2024

    Describe your dream chocolate bar.

My dream chocolate bar is kit kat

I like this chocolate so much that I don’t need any mood to eat it. If it is kept in front of me, I cannot stop myself from eating it. Sometimes I have to eat it by hiding it from the children because seeing my fondness, the children say that mummy, don’t eat too much of it, it has fat.

  • What to do if you can’t live without water on Nirjala ekadashi ?

    June 4th, 2024

Under Sanatan Dharma, Ekadashi Tithi is considered especially important, according to the Hindu calendar, Ekadashi Tithi comes twice every month, one in Shukla Paksha and the other in Krishna Paksha. Each Ekadashi has its own distinct significance and unique name. This day is associated with Lord Vishnu and his incarnation Shri Krishna, so Krishna followers definitely keep a fast on the day of Ekadashi.so Krishna followers definitely
keep a fast on the day of Ekadashi.

It is believed that the Ekadashi fast frees the person from the cycle of life and death and helps him attain salvation. Nirjala Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Ekadashi fast is not only of religious significance in Hinduism. This fast is also very important from the point of view of mental and physical health. Ekadashi fast is dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu. After observing the fast of this Ekadashi, one should donate according to faith and ability. Those who donate Jal Kalash on this day as per the rituals get the fruits of all the Ekadashis of the year. Thus, the one who observes the fast of this holy Ekadashi becomes free from all sins.

Once, after hearing from Vyasaji the rule of fasting on every Ekadashi, Bhimsena, who was a glutton, humbly requested, ‘Maharaj! I am not able to observe any fast. I remain very hungry throughout the day. So, please tell me a remedy by which I can automatically attain salvation.

Then Vyasji said that ‘if you cannot observe all the Ekadashi fasts of the year then observe only one Nirjala fast, this will give you results equivalent to observing all the Ekadashi fasts of the year.’ Then Bhima did the same and went to heaven. Nirjala means this fast is observed without consuming water and by fasting. Therefore this fast is as important as tough penance and meditation. According to Hindu calendar, the Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha between Vrishabha and Gemini Sankranti is called Nirjala Ekadashi. This fast is also known as Bhimsen Ekadashi or Pandava Ekadashi. There is a mythological belief that Bhimsen, one of the five Pandavas, observed this fast and went to Vaikunth. Hence, it is also called Bhimseni Ekadashi.

Just by observing the Nirjala Ekadashi fast, one gets the benefits of observing 25 Ekadashi fasts in a year including the two Ekadashis of Adhik Maas. While dietary restraint is important in other Ekadashi fasts throughout the year, on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, along with food, water restraint is also necessary. In this fast, water is not consumed, i.e. the fast is observed without drinking water. This fast teaches restraint to the mind and gives new energy to the body. This fast can be observed by both men and women.

Nirjala Ekadashi has religious importance as well as scientific importance. According to scientists, fasting without water on this day spreads new energy in the body and man is able to control his body. Scientists also accept the fact that if there is a shortage of water in the human body, life is in danger.

In the present era when the whole world is facing the serious challenges of water scarcity, it is important on a philosophical basis to recognize water as an element instead of a drink. Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat determines the importance of water, one of the main elements of Panchtatva, as determined by the ancient sages and saints. Japa, Tapa, Yoga, Sadhna, Havan, Yagna, Vrat, Upvaas are all considered to be the means of purifying the inner conscience, so that one can get rid of lust, anger, greed, attachment, arrogance, envy and love-hatred.

The human body goes through a cycle of 40-48 days, which is called mandal. In this 48 day period, there are 3 days when your body does not require any kind of food or edible substance.

These 3 days can be different for all humans, so it is not right to force food into your body during these three days. The body is not asking for food on these dates and if you accept this demand of your body, then you can avoid many physical problems and diseases. There are 3 Ekadashi in every 48 days period and generally fasting is observed on these dates only.

According to scientists, the earth is in a special position on the day of Ekadashi, if you give light food to your body on this day, you will be satisfied internally, your body remains healthy. Even if seen spiritually, if your stomach is too full then you feel lethargic, you will not be able to focus on your inner awareness. On the other hand, if you eat light food on this day, then definitely the energy within you will awaken and you will turn towards spirituality. For the purification of the body and the alertness of the intellect, you should give up food on this day. Actually, Ekadashi fast is important not only from religious point of view but also for mental and physical purity in practical terms as well. But it is also seen that many educated youth also neglect the fasting traditions related to Indian Sanatan Dharma in this regard due to lack of knowledge.

If we look at the scientific aspect related to this fast, then since the decrease and increase of the phases of the Moon falls on all the creatures and plants. Hinduism is based on Panchang Tithis. The position of the Moon is always the same on every date. Therefore, its effect also has the same effect on the body. Therefore, from the point of view of health, it is believed that the diseases born between Ekadashi from Chaturthi Tithi do not become serious.

According to scientific importance, summer season starts from Ekadashi of Jyeshtha month. So it is important to donate a pitcher. There is also a trend of donating seasonal fruits like melon, watermelon, cucumber, cucumber, phunt etc.

This fast should not be done by pregnant hair, old and patient. Water should not be taken in this fast, but it is described in the scriptures that if you are not able to live without water or during the fast you have to drink water for some reason or life is in trouble after fasting, then even after taking water, the fast will not break even after taking water.

After chanting the Om Namo Narayana Mantra 21 times, put Gangajal mixed water in a clean plate of silver or brass and keep your hands on the ground and drink animal-like water. Due to this the fast is not considered to be broken. On the second day, Dwadashi Tithi can be passed anytime throughout the day. This measure is based on beliefs. Apart from this, you can rinse out the water by rinsing. With this the water will not go down the throat and your fast will not be broken.

  • My childhood favourite book is Panchtantra

    June 4th, 2024

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

Yes of course, I still remember my childhood favourite book. When I was five years old, my father bought me a set of Panchatantra books on my birthday. From then onwards I started reading books little by little.

Father used to say that for building a better society, children should be given all kinds of knowledge so that they can develop in all aspects. According to the scriptures, for the first 7 years of a child, he should be given information from all sides in a natural manner. Efforts should be made to increase curiosity and the urge to learn in him. Children’s mental development increases by reading stories and comics, as well as talking about these with parents and teachers without hesitation. Children should be encouraged to read and listen to such stories that can inculcate good values in them. Also, by reading informative stories, the burdensome routine of school and homework of children does not seem burdensome and these stories, along with entertainment, also inspire children to think something new and creative and sometimes to write something new. Children’s perspective on various subjects also changes and their grip on language also becomes strong, which helps them in their studies.

Panchtantra stories teach children a very good lesson by presenting all the subjects in a very interesting way. Panchtantra stories are very lively. By reading each story, one can gain knowledge about how to be successful in every field of life. These stories, which introduce the principles of psychology, practicality and morality, present all the subjects in a very interesting way to children in simple language and at the same time every story tries to teach a lesson. In these stories, animals and birds have been described more in the form of letters and the author Pandit Vishnu Sharma has expressed his thoughts through them. It is easy to give children knowledge of right and wrong etc. by making animals, birds / people as the basis. In most of the stories of Panchtantra, various practical, social, cultural things have been mentioned through stories of animals / wild animals, through which children learn good values. From the stories of different parts of Panchtantra, children learn how to behave with friends, what is the place of family in life, what is the importance of hard work and honesty and how to solve the problem with one’s intelligence in times of crisis. This leads to the formation of a good society.  These stories are available in the form of pictures, which makes them very easy and interesting for children to understand. Being translated into more than 50 languages, these stories of Panchtantra have a wide reach and prove to be very useful in explaining moral matters to children in their language very easily.

I also gave these books to my children to read. Although now is the era of TV and mobile, still my children read Panchatantra with great interest.

  •   The influence of Bhagwad Geeta Ramayan and The Secret on my life

    June 3rd, 2024

List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

Although I have read many books in my life, but there are some books among them which have made me aware of the truth of life. First of all, I would like to tell you about Bhagwat Geeta. Reading Bhagavad Geeta introduces us to the truth about life and helps us to get rid of superstitions and false beliefs. The knowledge gained from Geeta removes our doubts and builds our self-confidence. The teachings of Geeta tell us that we should think well before doing any work. The purpose of life should be integration with God and follow the teachings of Bhagavad Geeta. We should try to live our life in such a way that in the end we feel satisfied in living life with the true values of humanity. From Geeta, we get the knowledge that a person should only focus on his work and karma. Also, while doing work, we should keep in mind that whatever work we are doing, we will definitely get its result.

The second book is Ramayana. Ramayana is not only a religious text but it also teaches life lessons to humans. In Ramayana, where Lord Rama is called Purushottam, the purity of Mother Sita is also shown. Both Laxman and Bharat’s immense love for their brother is shown. Every character of Ramayana definitely teaches something. The biggest lesson we get from Ramayana is that we should always stay away from evil. Every work should be done with a true and good heart. Ramayana teaches us that no matter how powerful or big the evil is, one day goodness will definitely win. Therefore, one should always avoid doing bad deeds.

Unity in diversity is a big lesson of Ramayana. In this epic, when Shri Ram goes to attack Lanka, his army included humans, monkeys and other animals. Everyone supported Shri Ram. Apart from this, despite the different characters of King Dasharath’s four sons, there is unity among them. This is a lesson for every family to come out of the time of sorrow. Ramayana also teaches the importance of relationships and trust. Shri Ram kept his promise to Kaikeyi even after knowing everything. There was love between all the brothers. There was no place for greed, anger or betrayal in such love. Laxman spent 14 years in exile with brother Ram, while the other brother Bharat rejected the opportunity of the throne. This lesson of brotherly love inspires us to give importance to relationships instead of greed and worldly pleasures. Ramayana is the only text that teaches dignity and discipline. Shri Ram’s personality was full of dignity and discipline. He fulfilled every responsibility of his life well by staying within the limits.  What we should learn from his life is that by living with dignity and discipline we can become a good person.

Shri Ram was of calm nature. He had compassion for every human being. With love and compassion, he also fulfilled the responsibilities of a son, husband, brother and a king very well. This nature of Shri Ram inspires us to adopt human qualities like mutual love and respect. By adopting these qualities, we can live a happy and satisfied life. With the help of this, we can win over the evils of society. Lord Ram’s humble conduct and respect for everyone teaches us. We should treat everyone equally despite the differences of position, age, gender etc. We should also have love and compassion towards animals. A true human is one who treats everyone equally. By reading Ramcharitmanas, we learn how a husband and wife should live and how much trust they should have on each other. Respect for husband and wife and wife for husband is Ramcharitmanas. From Ram Katha, we learn that like Ram, we should respect the feelings of our parents and teachers completely. This story inspires us to face every difficulty with courage and wisdom.  Through this story we also learn to maintain patience in adverse circumstances. Ramayana is the story of a royal family and dynasty which presents ideals of mutual relationships between husband-wife, brothers and other family members.

The Secret is based on the Law of Attraction by author Rhonda Byrne. The book is available in Hindi as Rahasya. If you are frustrated, depressed and feeling lost, then you must read this book. She has also written a book called Jaadu. Reading this will inspire you to achieve the desired success. The main characters in “Secrets” process their grief by splitting their emotions. While this response probably helps them survive in the short term, the story suggests that in order to properly heal from their trauma, the characters must allow themselves to truly feel their grief.

The Secret covers the law of attraction and states that the power of positive thinking can help you achieve anything you want. According to the author, positive thoughts can bring good things your way and this best-selling book reveals the secret to a blissful life. The book presents energy as an assurance of its effectiveness. The book has made a significant impact on readers around the world, inspiring them to manifest their desires and achieve their goals through the power of thought. Many people credit The Secret for changing their mindset, overcoming challenges and achieving success in various aspects of their lives. It is believed that if we use the power of attraction, while maintaining a positive and grateful mindset – we shape our reality and influence various aspects of our lives, including health, wealth and relationships.  The Law of Attraction emphasizes the deep connection between thoughts, feelings, and the outside world, encouraging individuals to take control of their thinking in order to create a more fulfilling life. The power of positive thinking is a philosophy that states that one’s mindset and outlook on life influence one’s experiences. It is based on the belief that maintaining a positive attitude, focusing on constructive thoughts, and fostering an optimistic mindset can lead to improved well-being, personal growth, and success.

  • Overcoming fear of people’s words

    June 2nd, 2024

What fears have you overcome and how?

From childhood to old age, we feel fear, which we also call dread, fear and nervousness etc. Although, it is natural for a normal person to be afraid. There is hardly any person who does not feel fear. Actually, fear is a normal emotion. But when this fear starts dominating our life, then it becomes necessary that we remove it from ourselves in time. Because when this fear takes a terrible form, it becomes a phobia. Fear is the truth of life. We all are afraid of something or the other. Some are afraid of exams, while some are afraid of its results. Many people are afraid of heights, while some people are afraid of going alone in the dark or in a lift.

Similarly, I was also afraid of people thinking what will they say if I do this work. One day my husband explained that people can only talk, your life is your own, you will decide how to live it. After that I started ignoring what people said. I am still very afraid of cockroaches when they fly, and I will never be able to get rid of this fear. In childhood, I was very afraid of darkness, sitting in a plane, hospital, and blood, but gradually I overcame them with time.

Fear can scare us only till we face it boldly. Actually, we often avoid doing those things which scare us. Therefore, to remove our fear from our mind, it is necessary that we face it courageously. When we face fear, we are unable to gather courage to move forward and stop there. If we gather the desired courage and come in a position to fight and take the risk with full confidence and face the fearful situation, then we win over that situation and get success. That is why it is said that victory lies beyond fear.

  • Sleeping more on holiday

    June 1st, 2024

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

There are many small things that give me happiness, such as spending a few days of vacation with my family, eating my favorite food in a good restaurant, spending time with friends, attending satsangs, etc. But I feel the happiest when I sleep a lot on a holiday. My body and mind are completely relaxed on that day.

Everything we do in life is to find happiness, but unfortunately being happy seems to be a very difficult task. We think that there must be certain conditions to be happy. But it is not so. When you are fundamentally happy, when you don’t have to do anything to be happy, every aspect of your life will change. Your experiences and the way you express yourself will change. The whole world will seem to you changed. You will no longer have any vested interests because whether you do something or not, whether you get something or not, whether something happens or not, you will be blissful by nature. When you are inherently happy, whatever you do will be on a whole different level. It doesn’t matter what you are doing in your life, whether it is business, power, education or service, you are doing it because somewhere deep within you there is a feeling that it will make you happy. Everything we do on this earth is out of a desire to be happy, because that is our basic nature.  When you were a child, you were happy by nature. That is your nature. The source of happiness is within you, you can make it a living experience forever.

  • Why did Parvati ask to keep the Gangaur fast sacretly ?

    May 31st, 2024

It is very important to tell the story of Gangaur in Gangaur Puja.lord Shankar and Parvati ji set out on a journey with narad ji, while walking they reached a village on the day of Chaitra Shukla tritiya, hearing the news of his arrival the best novel women of the village started preparing delicious food to welcome him.

there was a lot of delay in preparing the food but the woman from the ordinary clan reached there for worship with turmeric and Akshat in the plate before the women from the novel clan. Parvati ji accepted his offer to worship and sprinkle all the nector on her, she returnas after getting the blessing of getting an iternal marriage.

Later women from high casts came to worship Gauri Ji and Shankar Ji with various dishes.seeing them lord Shankar said to Parvati ji you have given all the marital blis only to women from ordinary families what will you give them now? Parvati ji replied, prannath don’t worry about it I have given those women only juice made from superficial substance,

but I will cut my finger and give the nector of my blood to these high cast women.whoever get this sweet nectar will be as fortunate as me in body and mind, when the women finished worshiping, Parvati ji cut off her finger and sprinkled it on them, whoever sprinkled it got the same match. women have been observing this fast since ancient times for unbroken good fortune.

After this, with the permission of Lord Shiva, Parvati ji took bath on the river bank and started worshiping him by making Mahadev of sand. After the worship, make a dish made of sand and offer it to Lord Shiva.

After this, she circumambulated, applied tilak on her forehead with soil from the river bank, took the prasad of two grains of sand and returned back to Lord Shiva. Parvati ji was very late at the river bank during all this worship etc. So Mahadev ji asked him the reason for coming late.

On this, Parvati ji said ‘My brothers, brothers-in-law and other maternal relatives were found there, there was a delay in talking to them. But God was God after all. Perhaps he wanted to create something else. So he asked ‘What did you offer after worshiping and what prasad did you get? Parvati ji replied ‘My sister-in-law fed me milk and rice. After eating that, I am coming straight here!

Hearing this, Lord Shiva also started towards the river bank in the greed of eating milk and rice. Parvati ji was in dilemma. They thought that now the whole story would be revealed. Therefore, she silently meditated on Lord Shiva and prayed, ‘O Lord! If lam your exclusive maid, then you protect my dignity at this time.

Praying like this, Parvati ji also started following Shankar ji.They had just walked a short distance when they saw a beautiful Maya palace on the banks of the river. When they reached inside the palace, they saw that Shivaji’s brother-in-law and their wife were present there along with their families.

they welcomed Shankar-Parvati with great love. They stayed there for two days and were greatly welcomed. On the third day, when Parvati ji asked Shankar ji to go, he was not ready. They wanted to stay longer. Parvati ji got upset and went alone. Then Shankar ji was forced to go with Parvati

Narad ji also went along. All three went far away while walking. Since it was evening, Lord Bhaskar was reaching his abode. Then Shiv ji suddenly said to Parvati – ‘I have forgotten my garland in your mother’s house. Parvati ji said’Okay, I will bring it. But Lord Shiva did not allow her to go. For this work he sent Brahma’s son Narad ji there.

When Narad ji went there and saw, he could not see even a trace of the palace. There was a dense forest far and wide. Narad ji was very surprised to see this dark and scary environment, Narad ji started wandering there and started wondering whether he had come to a wrong place?Suddenly lightning flashed and Narad ji saw the garland hanging on a tree.

Narad ji took off the garland and in frightened state, quickly came to Shiv ji and narrated the details of his calamity to Shivji.Hearing this incident, Lord Shiva said laughingly O sage! Whatever scene you saw is the unique illusion of Parvati. She wanted to keep the matter of her funeral a secret fromyou, so she lied.

Then to prove it true, he created Maya Mahal with the power of his Pativrata Dharma. Therefore, to highlight the truth, I also sent you to that place again to bring the rosary. On this Parvatiji said-‘What am I worthy of? ‘Then Narad ji bowed his head and said Mother! You are the best among the devoted. You are fortunate Adishakti,

All this is the effect of your patriotism, The women of the world can attain eternal good fortune and can create and destroy all attainments just by remembering your name, Then what is this big deal for you? Oh Mother! Secret worship is more powerful and economical, As far as hiding the incident arising out of the influence of their husbands is concerned,

That also seems appropriate because worship should be done secretly.I am very happy to see your spirit and miraculous power. This is my blessing-Those women who secretly worship their husbands and pray for their well-being, will get the blessings of Mahadev Ji and will get a long-lived husband and all their wishes will be fulfilled,

Then the women who worship you with devotion today will definitely get good fortune, Saying this, Narad ji bowed down and went to Devlok and Shiv ji and Parvati ji started towards Kailash Since Goddess Parvati observed this fast secretly, according to the same tradition even today women observe this fast secretly from men,

This is the reason why women have been observing this fast since ancient times for continuous good fortune,

  • Work is important but not more than health

    May 31st, 2024

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

Our life is all about work. Everyone is busy with their own work. I also write blogs along with my household work. I live in a joint family where there are many people. Despite so much work, I have given dimension to my hobby. All other work is like routine work, it has to be done. But when I sit down to write at night, sometimes I get so tired that I feel like sleeping while sitting. Still, sometimes I have to write. But sometimes I leave everything and go to sleep. Because I feel that if I don’t sleep now, my head will burst with pain.

Because if you work beyond your capacity, it affects your health, relationships, quality of work and also affects your mental health. While physical problems like fatigue, weakness, sleeplessness, back, neck, shoulder pain can bother you, on the other hand you can also suffer from mental problems like anger, irritability, anxiety. So understand the capacity and requirement of the body and work accordingly.Work is important but not more than health.

  • A true friend is like a bank locker

    May 30th, 2024

What quality do you value most in a friend?

Many people come into our lives. We forget many of them, but some have a lasting impact on us. Even though we have many friends, there are very few of them who become the best friend among all our friends. To do any work successfully, determination and self-confidence are required, but at the same time, if someone inspires, then it helps a lot in increasing self-confidence. It does not let us become weak and for this, if your friend is true, then he plays a very important role. A true friend always keeps motivating you and does not discourage you.

I want a good and true friend to be someone who is kind, trustworthy and caring. They listen when I talk, support me when I need help and share in your joys and sorrows. They are honest and do not intentionally hurt your feelings. They are trustworthy, understanding and empathetic. Good friends are always ready to help us and offer us their support. A good close friend is honest and speaks from the heart with good intentions. They tell you what you need to hear in a respectful and loving way, so that it does not hurt. Because you know they have good intentions at heart, a true friend saves his friend from making mistakes and walking on the path of evil. If a friend has fallen into the same wrong trend, then his true friend will stop him from doing the wrong thing.

Although if someone keeps praising us, we like it a lot, but as soon as someone points out some mistakes about us, we don’t like it. But believe me, your true friend is the one who tells you your weaknesses. This does not mean that he discourages you, but the person who tells you your weaknesses and talks about improving them is your true friend. You need to avoid false praises and understand the truth which works to take you on the right path. The person who will be your true friend will explain your words well instead of ignoring them and will work to show you the right path. A true friend does not have any sense of competition. He works to give his full contribution in making you successful by walking with you. The person who is your true friend will never let you down even by mistake. When a true friend tells you your weaknesses, even then he takes full care that you do not feel bad. Sometimes our circumstances become such that no one wants to believe us.  In such a situation, a true friend will support you all the time and his faith in you will never waver.

When two people connect on a deeper level, they become friends and become a constant in each other’s lives. True friendship is priceless and has immense importance in human life. My dear friend is undoubtedly a blessing given to me by God. There is nothing better than having a true friend with whom you can discuss the most important events of your life and get his support whenever you need it. There is nothing that can compare to the unwavering love and honesty that a friend provides. Best friends give meaning to our lives and also make it simpler and happier.

My dear friend is one of the greatest treasures of my life. Time passes very quickly when I am spending time with her. Whenever I need help or encouragement, my dear friend Anmol is always there for me. We have shared our experiences with each other and created memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. She is a friend I think of in case of any problem.  Whenever I face any difficulty, he always helps me by giving me the best ideas. The one person whom I can trust completely for the rest of my life, we always help each other. We spend time almost everyday and find new exciting things to do together – be it trying new recipes or reading a new book. My friend who always stands with me in every situation. He is one person on whom I can trust even with my eyes closed and he always has my back. I can share everything with him openly without any hesitation. A true friend is like a bank locker where we can hide our precious thoughts and secrets

  • house wife job

    May 29th, 2024

    What jobs have you had?

I am a housewife and I have not done any other job apart from this. Housewife or home maker are small words but it seems as if the whole world is contained in it. Sometimes this housewife is seen as a wife, sometimes a daughter-in-law, sometimes a daughter, sometimes a teacher and sometimes a cook, whose value is known to very few people. How many times, when asked, the family members easily say that they do nothing and are just a housewife. However, during the lockdown, people understood very well what a housewife does. When men shrug off all the household chores by saying ‘I am busy’, citing their jobs, housewives perform many of their responsibilities simultaneously very well. They do multitasking with great ease. Be it children’s school projects or going to the market to bring ration, cleaning the house or cooking different types of dishes in the kitchen. She manages to handle all the household chores easily by coordinating with different household chores. When the husband hands over the monthly expenses to the housewife.  So she manages all the expenses very well without complaining. Also, she tries to fulfill the needs of every member of the family with small savings. To be honest, her life is just like a lamp, which burns itself but keeps the light of happiness in the house.
