I don’t rely on external means to relax

How do you relax?

In today’s world, some say that meditation helps in relaxing, some say that exercising helps in relaxing. But all this happens only for a short while. It is difficult to relax nowadays. Continuous phone calls and social media are controlling life. It is not necessary that people did not live under stress before this. They too used to be stressed, but as there was no mobile revolution, they used to use the means to relax. We should also try to relax by keeping our electronic gadgets aside.

I don’t rely on music, dance, yoga, or anything else to relax. Unless you are relaxed from your heart, no one can make you feel relaxed. When we are stressed, our mind tries to figure out whether we should fight the problem or run away. This is when we find it difficult to decide on this subject. I decide to do what is right for you and your heart.

Anxiety and stress can affect mental, emotional and physical health. Being happy, that is, relaxed, reduces the risk of many mental illnesses. When we feel happy, we can also feel inner peace. I do not attend phone calls when I am eating. The insistence on doing multiple tasks at a time only puts us under stress. I do not do office work where I rest. I never get worried thinking that I could not prove to be the best for this job. I keep these feelings away from myself. I do not panic if the target is not achieved. Your job is to kindle a light within you. You have to show yourself that you are not panicking. I maintain emotional restraint and it relaxes me and makes me productive.

I believe that in everyday life, a person should stay away from things like jealousy, feeling of revenge, imitation, etc. and be satisfied with whatever he has. Then we will not have to resort to external means to relax.
