Yes, I voted. Because voting is very important. It is through voting that we choose a good representative for our area. It is through voting that the government is formed in the state. This is the only way to choose your representative and the government of your choice in the country. This is the beauty of our democracy. Therefore, every voter must participate in voting. There should be no hesitation in voting at all. Many people do not go to vote thinking that what do we want from the election. This is a wrong thinking. If we vote and choose a good representative of our area, then he will solve our problems. He will participate in the happiness and sorrows of the people. But vote for the right candidate only, who is really serious about his area and people. Do not vote for a wrong candidate out of greed. Universal adult franchise means that all adult citizens of the country have the right to vote. The idea of consent is the starting point of democracy. Consent means the desire, acceptance and participation of the people.  It is the decision of the people that forms a democratic government and decides about its functioning. The more citizens in a country have the right to vote, the more democratic the country is considered to be.
