Anger is a trap, after getting trapped in it, a person does not care about his own or strangers, good or bad.  Therefore, the person who always speaks the truth does not get angry at every thing and also controls his anger.  There is always peace in the life of such a person. By speaking the truth, the mind remains calm and problems also start going away. It is written in Mahabharata that what benefits a person gets who speaks the truth.  Apart from this, all those things have also been mentioned in Mahabharata which help in living a high standard of life.  By speaking the truth, troubles and tribulations start going away in a person’s life.  Even God is pleased by speaking the truth. The person who always speaks the truth lives longer than others.  Such a person has neither fear of anything nor greed.  He always remains blessed by God and gets a long life. The habit of lying and cheating in every matter becomes the cause of sorrows in life.  The life of a person who always supports the truth is full of happiness.  There is no room for problems and tribulations in the life of such a person. A simple person easily finds solutions to all his problems without any deceit.  Such a person gets happiness as well as respect in life.  Therefore everyone should adopt the habit of speaking the truth.

 

How do children learn to lie?

No one learns to lie from birth, that is, it is not a natural tendency.  Experts say that children learn to lie from their peers, society and media.  And childhood is the right age when it is important to curb the tendency to lie. In childhood, children easily become victims of bad habits like lying.  In such a situation, parents do not even know when innocent lying children become experts in lying.  Therefore, it is very important to teach children to speak the truth right from childhood.  However, it is also impossible to motivate children to tell the truth by reprimanding them for their habit of lying.  In such a situation, parents can easily get rid of this habit of children by finding out the reason for lying. In childhood, children copy most of the good and bad habits from their parents.  In such a situation, you can become a role model for children.  For this, try not to lie in front of children and teach them to tell the truth. Children’s childhood is quite innocent.  In such a situation, children are not able to understand the difference between good and bad.  This is the reason why many children knowingly or unknowingly become victims of some bad habits.  Lying is also one such habit.  Children often start lying to their parents to hide their mistakes.  It all starts from childhood.  When a child starts going to school or play school, he comes back and happily tells his family whatever he did or learned in school.  Then as he grows up, his habit changes.  Because he sees that whenever he comes home and informs about any behavior done during school time, he gets scolded or sometimes even beaten.  Therefore, gradually he starts telling something else instead of the truth for his own convenience or to please others.  He feels that this is the right thing. This habit gradually starts getting stronger.

He does not know that relationships built on the foundation of lies do not last long.  By the time we realize it, it is too late. If children gather courage and tell you everything truthfully after making a mistake, then do not forget to praise them for telling the truth.  This will encourage children to tell the truth in the future and they will also reduce lying. Parents often find it better to punish their children to correct every small and big mistake.  But, this creates fear in children and children often start lying to hide their mistakes.  Also, if children are caught lying, instead of punishing them, try to find out the reason for lying.  Many times the reasons are very small but due to the possibility of parents getting angry, children resort to lies.  Therefore, always treat your children with love.  Even if he has made a big mistake, try to understand it fully.  Also keep your eyes on him in such a way that he doesn’t even know.  But if he repeats the mistake again and again, you will have to take a strong decision.  If you have laid the foundation of speaking the truth in your childhood itself, then you will not have to see this day.

Therefore we all should always practice speaking the truth.  Along with yourself, you should also encourage your family and friends to speak the truth.  If we want to live a life full of happiness, then we have to follow the path of truth. In today’s era, the most difficult thing is to hear and speak the truth.  We all twist the truth according to our convenience and in such a situation the truth gets buried somewhere below.  But today’s reality is that most of the people are living this kind of double life and hence are not happy.  Because he can lie to everyone, but never to himself.  Due to this habit of not telling the truth, we also become victims of stress and depression etc. To tell the truth, a big heart is needed, but to tell a lie, only one heart is needed.  This person remains engrossed in his daily routine without making any noise. The scriptures say that one should always speak the truth.  There is nothing greater than truth.  But, the scriptures also say that such a truth which hurts someone should not be told.  If anything has to be said, it should be said in such a way that it does not hurt anyone.

Parents are the first school of the child.  The younger the children are, the more values they learn to adopt.  Sometimes it becomes difficult to explain anything to them after they grow up.  Therefore, give values to your children in their childhood itself.  And do not, under any circumstances, take their first mistake lightly.
