What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
Awareness towards health is the key to a healthy body. If there is health, then everything is there. Health is the most important thing in life. It is our own responsibility to take care of it. Health is the name of the unity of body, mind and energy. When all the senses of a person’s body are under his control, only then his health is under his control. To maintain good health, it is necessary for us to also develop spiritual health, then we can become completely healthy.
Positive thinking, To stay healthy, I have first of all made it clear in my mind that we become what we think, we should always keep our mind filled with positive thoughts and ideas, as a result of which we are able to achieve our health, our wealth, our prosperity, everything. Various types of diseases are born in our body due to the negative thoughts of our mind.
Food,, Our health is like the food we eat. I eat only vegetarian food because it plays a significant role in keeping us healthy. I try to avoid oily food and sweets because it creates laziness and fat in our body. Rich and heavy food affects our digestion power because of which our stomach becomes a victim of constipation. I also avoid packaged food and try to avoid fatty foods like pizza, pasta, burger etc.
Good friends,,, The company of friends is necessary to spread happiness in life. Good friends work like a medicine. Sometimes even physical illness gets cured by someone’s love and jokes. The most important thing is that I stay away from those people who destroy my peace and concentration. I keep company with those people as much as possible, with whose company good habits develop in my life because our habits make our life and our health.Negative people affect you in some way or the other, your mental health gets affected due to such people. It is very important to have a healthy mind to keep the body healthy.
Exercise, many people lose their health in the pursuit of wealth in life and to regain their health they have to spend the same wealth which becomes the cause of their suffering. That is why I definitely give 1 hour daily for my body.
To stay healthy, it is foolish to fool yourself by making excuses of always being busy. The one who does not get time for exercise, for health, has to take out time for illness. Therefore, creating a routine for my life and living my life in a disciplined manner is my routine.
Society has and will continue to change over time. Social change is the way in which human relationships and traditions transform cultural and social institutions over time, which has a profound impact on society. Social change is a concept that many of us take lightly or do not really understand. No society has ever remained the same. Before anything can change, we have to change ourselves. It is we who have created society. Therefore, we need to change our mindset first. One should not discriminate against others in the form of caste, creed, gender colour, age and many more. This can lead to one’s mental health and issues like anxiety and depression. In my view, there are some issues that need to be improved.
Education,
Society and Education are closely related. Society develops through education and education develops through society. Hence, we can say that education and society are interdependent. Education transforms lives in many ways. It expands a person’s knowledge, understanding, and experience, enriches the individual, and provides him with a path to achieve higher status and respect in society. An educated person is also able to find appropriate solutions to problems and helps in positive change in society. Changes in education are necessary, as skills and abilities such as logical thinking, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning are becoming more important than the transfer of vocabulary knowledge. Reforms are needed to ensure that every child, no matter where they live, receives quality education. The current Indian curriculum is often criticized as outdated and based on rote learning, focusing more on memorization than critical thinking and practical skills. Every society has its own specific structure and definite procedures which keep changing from time to time.
Evil customs,,,
Social evils or social issues are referred to as any undesirable situation that is opposed by society or a section of society. Some of the major issues are caste system, poverty, dowry system, child labour, religious conflicts etc. Even today, entry of people of some castes of Hindus, women and other religions is prohibited in many temples. If this is not followed, then there is mutual discord, contempt, treating with inferiority complex and even violent incidents keep happening and the irony is that this is happening in present India. Rather than thinking about when a tradition must have been started or how a bad custom must have originated, it is more important to think why it is continuing till date? Why are people sticking to this system? Why is there no social initiative to change it or end it? The biggest thing is that why does the government not take the system of religious places associated with the tradition of discrimination in its hands and take steps to destroy the root of the problem?
untouchability,
Untouchability is a crime by law but it is still prevalent in almost every section of the society, whether educated or illiterate, poor or rich, affluent or weak and not only this, every person is seen following it in its various forms. For example, keeping separate utensils for eating and drinking for the domestic servants working in the house is such a simple thing but how serious it is because this one behavior has given birth to a gap that can never be filled. Social evils can be eradicated only through education. Education takes us from darkness to light. Tradition is not wrong in itself but it becomes an evil when it is used for personal gain or to maintain one’s dominance and to harass the weak person. If a member of a family gets educated and occupies a high position in the society, then his goal should be to make efforts for the progress of the person at the last end of the society. Tathagata Foundation has made education its base.
gender discrimination,,,
Gender discrimination still exists in society. This can be seen in many countries of the world along with India. The main reason for this discrimination is the difference in the social and economic status of men and women. Women are often seen with less salary, less existing respect, more household work and less freedom than men. Not only in India, but also abroad, women are considered weaker than men at the workplace. I feel that the ego of men is also largely responsible for this. When a woman surpasses a male colleague, it hurts his ego and in response to this, he unknowingly starts talking to the female colleague in a sarcastic language. The speed at which the world of women is changing in Indian society, men will also have to give up their narrow outlook and move forward at the same pace. Parents differentiate between boys and girls in their own children. If this continues in the society, then how will women get equal rights as men in the society? They will always remain slaves and will keep fighting for their rights in life. We should start our efforts from our home, only then we will be able to give equal rights to women in the society. Legally there is equality between men and women, but in practical life, discrimination between men and women is still seen in the workplace. I am in government service. Here no discrimination is seen between men and women, but men already have a preconceived notion that women are inferior to us. To a large extent, women are also responsible for this situation. Gender equality is intrinsically linked to sustainable development and is important for the attainment of human rights for all. The overall objective of gender equality is to create a society in which women and men enjoy equal opportunities, rights and responsibilities in all spheres of life.change about modern society is not hard, but Everybody needs to change their mindset .
Music is a medicine for us which can keep our heart and mind healthy. People who do not like to listen to music are very dull. They only like to live a routine life. Which can become a burden later on. Just as nutritious food is required to keep our body healthy, similarly music is required to keep our soul healthy and positive. No matter how busy we are, we should take out some time for ourselves and adopt the company of music. Music affects both our body and mind. Music’s relationship with human life has always been unbreakable. In such a situation, if we want to stay away from stress and happy throughout our life, then we should establish a relationship with music as soon as possible. The specialty of music is that you can listen to it whenever you want, however you want and then change your mood. Listening to music increases the ability to fight diseases. Regular listening to music not only gives mental peace, but also improves brain function. It also increases our creative ability.
I like all kinds of music. But I like to listen to different types of music at different times. Like listening to bhajans in the morning, fast music while exercising, listening to Bhagwat Geeta while working in the kitchen, and listening to classical music while working on the laptop. Classical music is an effective music to listen to while working because its sounds develop around a piano, string or woodwind instrument composition. This type of music also does not contain any lyrics, which can make it easier to concentrate and stimulate the mind. Listening to classical music increases the ability to manipulate shapes and solve spatial puzzles. The absence of words in music may be a factor, as lyrics can be distracting when you are trying to concentrate. Classical music also has an effect on the brain. Listening to classical music can improve the areas of the brain associated with dopamine secretion, learning and memory. Listening to classical music can reduce stress levels, anxiety and even symptoms of depression. The calming effect of classical music removes any nervousness or nervousness, and can help reduce your heart rate and anxiety. Not only this, listening to classical music while sleeping improves the sleep quality of young adults with sleep problems. Listening to music for some time every morning and evening improves the level of high blood pressure, while listening to slow music also removes the problem of stroke. According to a study, music has three nervous systems, which provides mental relaxation. Even in the case of stroke, listening to slow music in bed provides relaxation. Classical music inspires me to work.
There is so much variety of food in this world that it is hard to describe it. Among all these, we like many things the most. But we are not able to eat them in our everyday life because we can only eat what we have been eating since our childhood. My favorite comfort food is Upma. Upma is a popular dish of South India. It is made from semolina and it is a delicious and healthy food. Eating Upma made from semolina provides energy to our body for a long time. After eating Upma made from semolina, we do not feel hungry quickly and we feel energetic for a long time.
Upma is very easy to make. For every cup of semolina, 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil, 3 cups of water are used, along with vegetables, peanuts and cashews and tempering ingredients are also added proportionately. You can also make and eat it easily at home.
Ingredients for Upma Recipe Semolina – 1 cup, Ghee – 2 tablespoons, Mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon, Green peas – 1 tablespoon Carrot – 1 small piece, chopped, Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon finely chopped, Green chilli – 1 to 2 finely chopped, Peanuts – 1 tablespoon Cashews – 7 to 8,
How to Make Upma? To make Upma, first roast the semolina in a pan on low flame while continuously stirring it with a spoon till it becomes light brown. Fry the semolina well on low flame otherwise it will become sticky after the upma is cooked. This will take about 4 to 5 minutes. Take out the roasted semolina in a plate. Now put 2 tablespoons of ghee in the same pan and heat it. Put peanuts and cashews in the ghee and fry them lightly and take them out in a plate. Put mustard seeds in the heated ghee in a pan and fry them lightly. After the mustard seeds crackle, add finely chopped green chillies, carrots chopped into small pieces and green peas and mix well and fry on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. After this, add roasted semolina, 3 cups of water and salt according to taste and mix well. When the water starts boiling, then cook it while stirring it with a spoon. When the batter thickens and looks like halwa, add roasted peanuts and cashews. Cook the upma for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring it with a spoon. Also add green coriander and mix.
Turn off the gas. Delicious upma is ready. Enjoy it with green coriander chutney and coconut chutney. To make this recipe even healthier, you can add as many vegetables as you want. Upma is the most commonly eaten dish in breakfast. If you want, you can pack it with tea in the evening snack or in the lunch box of your child. If you like to eat onions, you can add them with the vegetables. But remember to fry the onions a little before adding them.
The glycemic index of semolina is very low, hence it does not allow the sugar level to increase in the body. You can eat it in any illness.

Food is an important part of our life. If there was no food, we probably wouldn’t work so hard. Many people go miles away from their homes just to take care of their families. If there was no food, farmers wouldn’t have to work so hard today. In today’s era, people have invented a lot of variety in food. I too know how to cook dishes from many countries. But among all of these, I like to cook roti and vegetable for our everyday meal. Because this is the only dish that we have been eating for years and will continue to eat.
No matter how many dishes we prepare, and how many meals we eat at restaurants, we can never eat the same food for long. Homemade food is such a satisfying meal that it never lets us feel bored. And it is also beneficial for our health. Homemade food is different for everyone, irrespective of caste or religion. But whatever it is, homemade food is hygienic and nutritious. Homemade food is usually prepared with natural ingredients compared to commercially prepared food. Preparing healthy meals at home can help your immune system and reduce the risk of diseases like heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes. It can give you more energy, improve your sleep at night and help you better manage health problems.
The most important thing is that I also have to offer food to my God. And onion and garlic free food is served in the offering to God. Which is my home made dal, rice, roti, vegetables, curd, halwa, kheer and many other things which my God eats happily.
Dogs, yes I love dogs. Because I have a dog whom I love very much. And the innocence and cuteness of dogs is due to their loyal and faithful nature along with their attractive physical features like hanging ears and expressive eyes. Their unconditional love and loyalty towards humans creates feelings of affection which makes them beloved companions.
Having a dog is good for us physically and emotionally. Dogs make us happy and healthy. Dogs are loyal creatures, very intelligent and they get along well with humans. Whether I am out of the house for a few minutes or for many hours, my pet dog never misses a chance to greet me at the door.
Everyone performs various activities in their daily routine, such as bathing, eating, cooking, cleaning, etc. Such activities help us to function effectively in daily life. But some of these activities make us forget to keep track of time.
Similarly, I also like meditation and while doing it I get lost in myself. I am not aware of the time. Unless there is a big noise, my eyes do not open. The second activity I like is singing the praises of God. Whenever I get a chance, I do not miss going to the kirtan. I like writing and singing bhajans, both of which do not let me be aware of the time.
There will not be any person in this world who does not have any problem. And there will not be any problem on earth which has no solution. Similarly, I also have a problem with my mind and brain. Because I always keep thinking about something or the other.
It often happens with me that I am doing some work but my attention is somewhere else. This happens because some kind of thoughts always keep going on in the mind. The mind is never peaceful. Be it good or bad, thoughts come to everyone’s mind. Keeping your mind peaceful does not mean that we have to run away from them or thoughts can never come to the mind. Due to this habit of mine, sometimes I become very worried. Although the reason for my thinking is not very big. But I cannot give up this habit of mine even if I want to.
Our life is a machine made by God. God has made us very thoughtfully. Sometimes I keep wondering how he is able to do such a huge management. That is why first of all I am sure about God.
2. Our breathing, everyone knows that there is a machine called breath in this body. And they definitely know it.
3. Birth, we all are born in this world, and will continue to be born. No one can deny this order as per their wish.
4. Death, whoever has come to this world will have to go. Death is a truth which everyone will have to accept.
5. Day and night, I consider this law of nature as certain. Because we have no choice but to stop evening and night from happening after morning.
6. Truth and lie, this is such an irony that no human being is untouched by it. Be it the wisest person or a fool, everyone is surrounded by it.
7. Parents, we all know that there is no creation without parents. Even God must have some parents who gave birth to him.
8. Youth and old age, these are such physical conditions which no one can stop. No matter how much effort we make, no matter how much treatment we take, these conditions will come and go.
9. Weather and environment, these things are God’s gift. Every season has its own fixed time. We cannot change it even if we want to.
10. Happiness and sorrow are our karma. One is sure to suffer the consequences of his deeds.
