What’s your favorite time of day?
Time waits for no one. Minutes turn into hours, hours into days, days into months and months into years. Every human being has his/her own favourite time. Some people like morning time, some like afternoon time. Some like evening time, some like night time. We all use our time according to our convenience.
If we talk about time, then I like morning time very much. Waking up early in the morning and watching the rising sun gives me immense peace. And in the morning at the time of sunrise all the divine powers awaken. The way flowers bloom with the first ray of the sun, similarly the rays of the early morning sun are also very beneficial for our body. When the rays of the morning sun spread in all the four directions and darkness disappears with their spreading, then the delighted bumble bee coming out of the lotus petals leaves its laziness and starts humming, because it too gets convinced of this natural beauty and it seems as if it is expressing its happiness in its voice. The voice of the birds seems as if telling us that it is morning now get up.
Waking up at this time is considered good for improving mental health. Waking up at 5 am also gives time to do yoga and exercise, which keeps the body fit. Exercising in the morning not only reduces increasing weight, but it also keeps the body fit. Waking up early helps the mind to remain calm and focused, which keeps the mind focused on work. This also develops self-confidence.
At this time, there is peace all around, the air is clean. This is the best time for meditation, reading spiritual books and exercising. The chirping of birds as soon as you wake up in the morning, fresh cold air, the sound of bells ringing in temples, the fragrance of incense sticks coming from the puja room of the house, the delicious smell of food coming from the kitchen, Papa reading the newspaper in his hand are everyday things but we have become used to seeing all this.
There are thousands of benefits of waking up early in the morning, one of them is to be able to take out time for yourself. When you wake up early in the morning, you have a few hours before your daily routine begins. You can give these hours to yourself. The benefits of waking up early in the morning have been explained in detail in Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda, there are three main elements present in the human body. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The quantity of these elements keeps on increasing and decreasing with time. Vata is related to muscles, breathing, blinking and activities of tissues and cells. Pitta is related to the processes of digestion, excretion, metabolism and body temperature. Kapha is related to the structure of the body i.e. bones and muscles. Any kind of problem in these three can cause many types of diseases in the body. According to Ayurveda, the balance of these three remains better in people who wake up early in the morning.
I like to pray to my God early in the morning. As the day passes, laziness fills our body. And a peaceful environment like the morning is not found throughout the day. That is why I like the morning time very much.
