Everyone thinks that I am the most unhappy person in the world. I don’t have everything I want. I don’t have what other people have. No one loves me There are many sorrows to be sad, which can make us sad in minutes. When a man has nothing, he is sad, but even when he has everything, man remains sad. Because man’s desire never ends. When one desire is fulfilled, another takes birth. Man is the effigy of desires. Desires make a man dance at his behest.
We see so many people around us who are more unhappy than us, yet we keep cursing ourselves. No matter how much money a man collects, there are only two times to eat. Have often seen people fighting for wealth. Brothers become thirsty for each other’s blood. The relationship between brother and sister gets spoiled. The reason for all this has come to be seen as the longing for money. We cannot be happy even with the money we get after fighting and fighting.
There was a very poor husband and wife. He had a son. Often the child insists on his mother that today my friend is eating this, which I also want to eat. Today my friend wore very nice clothes which I do not have. Now my friends will go to study in a good school, I can never go. Mother tell me when will we get the money. When will we also have a very nice house, a car and all such comfortable things. Being unhappy with the child’s words everyday, the mother thought of a solution one day. He spoke to his son. Son, a very big saint has come to the nearby village. He solves everyone’s sorrows. You also go to him and come asking when our days of sorrow will end. Don’t tell them that you want wealth and property. Just asking how many more days we will see the suffering. There was a lot of curiosity in the minds of the children. He left the house early in the morning the very next day.
He was thinking in his mind that now the end of our sorrows is about to come. I will definitely bring some solution from the saint. He was walking thinking, the whole day passed, and now it was getting night. A little further he saw a huge palace. He went inside the palace in fear. Went inside and saw the mistress of the palace sitting in the verandah. He asked the mistress can I spend the night in the verandah outside your house. The mistress felt pity on the child. The owner was very good natured. He said yes you can definitely spend. Seeing the face of the child, the mistress felt that he was hungry and thirsty. He asked his servant to order food for the child. When the child had eaten the food, the mistress asked him where are you going? Then the child told the whole incident. Said I am going to the saint, my mother has sent me. The mistress said to him, son, will you do one thing for me? The child said yes, I will definitely do it. The mistress said, you ask the saint a question for me, ask that my daughter has not spoken since childhood, will she be able to speak or not. The child said, I will definitely ask and in the morning he left from there.
He went on and on. After a while he felt thirsty. He saw a saint sitting under a tree. He has water in a vessel. The children went and asked the saint, will you give me some water? The saint said why not children. The saint gave him some water from his own water. The saint asked, son, where are you going? The child told him all his troubles. Then the saint said, will you ask me a question? The children thought that I was so thirsty that they gave me water, now I will have to do their work. The saint said, ask the great saint to whom you are going that I have been doing penance for so many years but why am I not getting the result. The child said, I will definitely ask and he went ahead. Now the evening had come to fall and the child was very hungry. He was sitting in a field thinking with a sad heart, Oh God, what will I eat now. Just then saw that a farmer’s wife brought bread for her husband. The farmer had seen the child. He called the child and asked will you eat food? He was very hungry, he said yes. The farmer fed him. Then the farmer also asked him where are you going? The child then told everything to the farmer. The farmer spoke after listening to the children. Ask the saint one thing for me too. That I plant seeds in the fields with so much effort. But my crop is not good at all. There are big fruit trees in my farm which never bear fruit. Even after working so hard, I am not able to earn at all. The child said okay, I will ask him.
As soon as the child went a little further, he found that saint. The saint’s face was very sharp. He was smiling slowly. He asked the child, did you get the answer to your question? A child was a child after all. He had to ask what his mother had sent him to ask. So he asked the saint. Then the saint explained to him, son, all the happiness and sorrows that have come in this world are the fruits of their deeds. Till the time the books of bad deeds are not completed, we have to bear them. By the way, while coming on the way, you must have come to know that no one is happy in this world. If someone has everything then someone is troubling him. That’s why we should never consider our sorrow too big.
The child was very satisfied with the idea of the saint. He returned to his home as told by the saint. As the saint had said, keep doing your work, God will automatically give you the results. The child also worked hard. And his days changed.
