Don’t follow everything people say

Many times we find such people around us who keep finding faults in others. But if you ask them about improvement, they back off. One needs to be cautious of such people because their habit of finding faults can push someone into depression. Just by being around such people, the environment gets filled with negativity. It is better to mind your own business rather than staying in contact with them for long. Even if they are finding faults in someone, one should not pay attention to them. Instead of listening to such people and taking them to heart, it is better to remove any fault in yourself and move forward towards your goal. The stars do not have the courage to decide our fate, but our fate is in our hands. This was said by the world famous author and playwright William Shakespeare many years ago. Even today, such thoughts work like medicine for us at many turns of life. This fact cannot be denied that a better person can be made only by one’s good thoughts and deeds.  It is our thinking that has the ability to make us successful or unsuccessful. But there are many occasions in life when we get so entangled in our own problems that we cannot see a way out. Then we should listen to the voice of our conscience. We should understand that people are there only to find faults.

There was a painter who used to make very good paintings. Once that painter made such a painting after which he felt that this painting is the best painting of his life. There was no mistake in it. He became very happy and started telling everyone about his painting. He showed the painting to one of his friends and told that friend: This is the best painting of my life, there is no mistake in it.

His friend told him that if you really want to see that there is no mistake in this painting, then you should put this painting at a crossroad where people keep coming and going.

And put a board there and write on it that if you see any mistake in this painting, then put a black mark there. That painter did the same, put his painting at a crossroad and kept an art brush there and went from there. When that painter came back in the evening, he saw that there were so many marks on his painting that the painting had turned completely black. That painter went to his friend crying and told him the whole thing and felt that I thought that there was no mistake in this painting. But people found a lot of mistakes in it.

After listening to everything, his friend told him: Make another identical painting and put it on the same square. But now write there that wherever you see a mistake in this painting, correct it.
The painter did the same and made a similar painting and put it on the same square. He also put some brushes there and went away.
When it was evening and the painter came back, he saw that nothing had changed in that painting, the painting was the same as it was. There was no improvement or change in it. The painter was surprised to see this and told his friend everything.

His friend told him: Friend! There are many faultfinders in this world, who can find fault in a good thing in a second. But if they are told that you have found fault, now correct it, then no one does it, no one comes forward. That is why we should not pay attention to what people say.
