How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?
Communication has developed a lot in the world to talk to people sitting far away. There was a time when we used to imagine that if only we could see the photo of the person we are talking to on our mobile. Science has now made this possible. But for those who cannot see, the situation is still the same. Sometimes such a situation arises that we have to tell about ourselves to someone who cannot see us. Something similar happened to me a few days ago when my grandmother wanted to talk to me. She has become very old. Now she can see very little with her eyes but she can hear a little with her ears. So I used such methods to talk to her.
I put the phone on speaker mode. And now I started asking my grandmother about her well being. She also asked about me and I told her that I am absolutely fine. When I saw that she was able to hear me, I made a video call. Now I could see her face clearly. She also tried to look at me and she was very happy to see my face.
My maternal grandmother lived in a village near mine. After a few days, I felt like going to meet her. And one day when I went to meet her, she became so happy that she held my hand in hers. My touch brought tears to her eyes. She held my hand after a long time. That warmth of love told the whole story. The trembling of her old wrinkled hands was making me restless. My maternal grandmother was becoming uncontrollable with happiness after getting the fragrance of my body.I did not need to tell anyone about my condition. Her experienced eyes and mind had read everything, whether I was happy in my world or not.
After that day, I understood that to know and understand someone, one does not need only eyes. If a person wants, he can sense the expressions of the outside world with his inner eyes. because He who cannot see can see everything.
