Describe your most memorable vacation.

Due to the hectic lifestyle, spending time with family is becoming very special. Everyone wants that their hard-earned vacation should be spent in a memorable way.

Similarly, my husband and I had planned to go to Dubai ten years ago. Our flight was from Kolkata. We were very excited about our trip. The flight was at 11:30 pm. And it was going to go via Hyderabad. But the flight was so late that we reached the place where we were supposed to reach in the morning at 3:00 pm. Our mood was completely spoiled because we had only three days. As soon as we reached, we freshened up and went out for sightseeing. Due to lack of time, we could not see some places that we wanted to see.

Now read carefully the incident of our return. Our flight took off from Dubai at 10:00 pm. On the way back, our flight had to come to Delhi. I find flight journeys very stressful. After flying for 2 hours, suddenly the pilot signaled us to fasten our seat belts and said that we are going back to Dubai because there is some technical problem in the flight. I have not been able to forget till date what was the condition of my heart. Those 2 hours were like two ages for me. Anyway, thanks to God, we reached Dubai airport again. After reaching, we came to know that the windshield of the flight was broken. And the next day we read this in the newspaper as well. Anyway, we were kept at the airport. The airline people arranged for our food. Our flight back was after 6 hours.

The next day morning we again left for Delhi. This time we were thankful to God that we reached Delhi. When we reached Delhi and got ready to collect our luggage, the airline people said that some of our luggage was left behind. Now when the next flight arrives, our luggage will come in it. We held our heads. Because we had already missed a flight to Kolkata. The airline people were saying that they will get the luggage delivered to our home. But all of us friends thought that since the flight has already been missed, we will take the luggage with us. The airline people kept us in a hotel there. Morning turned to evening but there was no trace of our luggage. We had done a lot of shopping in Dubai but now we were not happy about that shopping. At night when we again went back to the airport to check our luggage. Then they said that it will come in the morning. Here I must tell you that this flight was of Air India. Anyway, we got our luggage the next day. They asked us to check our luggage. We opened it and saw that everything was fine.  Then we returned back to Kolkata by afternoon flight.

When we reached home, we were completely exhausted. The enthusiasm with which we had gone for the trip had now cooled down. My husband had to take two days off from office because of the flight. He had an important meeting which he could not join. We were very tensed for two-three days about all these things. Then gradually we got busy with our work. This was our experience of visiting Dubai. Which we will probably never forget in our life. Now whenever we go out, there is a fear in the mind. One day my friend said that whenever you go out, you should ask God to come with you. After that, while going out, we ask our God to come with me and come back with me. You too should listen to me and see, he will always be with you.This was my scary Dubai tour.
