PM Modi’s address on 15 August 2023

What was the last live performance you saw?

I last saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address from the Red Fort in Delhi on 15 August 2023. PM Modi’s personality was worth seeing. PM Modi said – This India neither stops nor gets tired. Referring to the development works, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this is a new India. It is an India full of self-confidence, it is an India that is engaged whole-heartedly to fulfill its resolutions. That is why this India neither stops, nor gets tired, nor does it pant and neither does this India lose. We have to make the India that was the India of Bapu’s dreams (Mahatma Gandhi). PM Modi said that the biggest enemy of development is appeasement. Appeasement has caused immense damage to social justice. My family members have a huge responsibility. It is a crime to force our future generations to live such a life. Give such a country to our future generations so that they do not have to struggle to get small things. PM Modi said – We have to fight against 3 evils.  He appealed to fight against corruption, nepotism and appeasement. He said that these are the things which raise a question mark on the aspirations of the people of our country. We have to take the fight against corruption forward. Today internet is reaching every village. PM Modi said that today the country is moving ahead with many capabilities. The country is working to move ahead towards modernity. Today the country is working for renewable energy and green hydrogen. The country’s capacity in space is increasing. And it is also moving ahead successfully in deep sea mission. Railways in the country are getting modernized and Vande Bharat train is also working in the country today. Pucca roads are being made in every village and electric buses and metro are also being constructed in the country today.

PM Modi said that when the country prospers economically, it does not just fill the treasury. The strength of the country increases, the strength of the countrymen increases. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Vibrant Border Village was called the last village of the country. We have changed that mindset. It is not the last village of the country. What you can see on the border is the first village of my country. I am happy that the special guests of this program are 600 Pradhans of these border villages. They have come here to be a part of this program at the Red Fort.

PM Modi said that our policies are clear and there is no question mark on our intentions, but some truths will have to be accepted. To resolve these, I have come to the Red Fort today to seek your help. I have come to seek your blessings. On the basis of experience, I am saying that we will have to take those things seriously. There should be a tricolor flag of developed India in the world. We should not stop even a bit. For this, honesty, transparency, impartiality is needed. We should provide as much nourishment and water to this strength as we can, this should be our collective effort.  In 2047, when the country celebrates 100 years of independence, India will be a developed country. On the issue of terrorism, PM Modi said that changes are visible in every field in the country. Now terrorist attacks have reduced and Naxalite incidents have also reduced. We have deposited Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the accounts of farmers through PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. We have spent Rs 2 lakh crore on Jal Jeevan Mission. We have spent Rs 70 thousand crore under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, so that the poor get medicines. We have spent about Rs 15 thousand crore for vaccination to save livestock. From the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi said that we have been victims of unbalanced development, but now our goal is to promote balanced development. My family members, India is the mother of democracy. There are many languages but we have to move forward. It is our social and family responsibility that our daughters are not tortured. From the Red Fort, PM Modi announced that I will come again on the next 15th August.
