What job would you do for free?
Serving the poor is such a virtuous work that I would like to do it for free all my life. Serving the poor is the greatest religion. This work requires working with good thinking. By doing this we can relieve the suffering of these helpless people for some time. As a human being, everyone should be ready to help the lower sections of the society. By providing blankets and clothes to the poor during the winter season, they can be saved from the ravages of cold to a great extent. Service to man is service to Narayan. Serving the poor always inspires a person to walk on the path of success. In the present environment, elders of the society should be ready to serve the poor and helpless. Serving the poor gives spiritual happiness to a person and the blessings of the poor are very important in opening the doors of success in the future.
Helping the poor is equivalent to worshiping God. The basic life work of Swami Vivekananda was the determination to eradicate the oppression arising out of extreme poverty, illiteracy, superstition, untouchability, high-low, meaningless rituals and rigid caste system prevailing in the Indian society. We need to learn from their actions. Blessings from the mouth of the poor can make your life happy. Whatever amount of money you spend for them comes back to you in many fold. We teach our children If there is anything to eat, we should eat it by sharing it among ourselves. Then why can we eat it ourselves without giving food to the hungry poor.
People spend lakhs on their debauchery but hesitate to give even a penny to the needy. Why don’t they understand that a poor person is a form of God. If God has given you money, then he also has a share in it. Therefore, try to bring a smile on the face of a poor person. Be it with whatever help you provide. It may be money to treat someone’s illness, or to educate a poor child, to marry a poor daughter, or to help someone Be it by making someone your helper and supporting his/her family, by feeding a hungry person or by giving someone clothes to cover his/her body, by providing support to a helpless person or by arranging for someone’s stay. Once you do something, you will feel such immense happiness. Which cannot be described.
