I am not a staunch superstition but I definitely believe in God. If believing in God is superstition then I am a superstition.  If any custom is followed without questioning the logic behind it, then it is called superstition.  But all castes have their own customs and traditions which they follow, no matter how modern they consider themselves.  Superstition is a belief which has no good reason.  A small child starts following literally the traditions and beliefs that he has been seeing and hearing in his home, family and society since childhood.  This superstition leaves such a deep impact on his mind that he is unable to come out of these superstitions throughout his life.  Superstition is not only seen in the uneducated and low income group people, but it is also seen to more or less in the highly educated, learned, intellectual, high income group and people of developed countries.  This is usually seen from generation to generation.  Superstitions are of different types according to the society, country, region, caste and religion. Knowing the general attitudes and expectations of the worldly people, many people have created big shops of superstitions.  The situation has become such that because of this superstition, we have strayed far away from the importance of worshiping God.  No matter how modern we become, we will find countless people in the world who spread superstitions and believe in them. Those who believe that there is God in the entire creation are true believers, the rest are superstitious.
