In Sanatan Dharma, the worship of Devadhidev Mahadev is considered very important.  Whoever gets the blessings of Lord Bholenath, understand that all his troubles are gone.  Monday is the day of Lord Shiva. Which mantras of Mahadev should be chanted?

Om Namah Shivay, this mantra should be chanted 108 times daily.  This keeps the person’s body and mind calm.  Mahadev becomes very happy by chanting this mantra.
Om Trimbakam Yajamahe Sugandhi Pushtivardhanam. Urvarukamiv Bandhanan Mrityormukshiya Mamritat.
This is Mahamrityunjaya chanting.  Its meaning is that we worship Trinetra, who is fragrant and nourishes us.  Just as the fruit is freed from the bondage of the branch, let us also be freed from death and impermanence.
Om Namo Bhagwate Rudray Namah
This mantra is called Rudra Mantra.  It is believed that this mantra conveys all your wishes to Lord Shiva.  And Mahadev fulfills them.
Shiv Gayatri Mantra: Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe, Mahadevaya Dhimahi, Tanno Rudra Prachodayat.
