Is Goddess Durga happy with betel leaf?

In Hindu religion, offering betel leaves to Gods and Goddesses is considered very auspicious and the tradition of using these leaves in any worship has been going on for a long time.  Betel leaf has been mentioned in Skanda Purana.  According to which betel leaves were used during the churning of the ocean.  Various gods and goddesses are believed to reside in its leaves.  That is why it is used in worship. Especially in the worship of Lakshmi, Ganesh, use of betel leaves is considered essential in many types of worship.  Betel leaves are considered a symbol of auspiciousness and profit.  For this reason, if it is not included in the puja, the puja is considered incomplete.  There are many mythological stories which further increase the importance of betel leaves. During the puja, betel leaves are kept in betel leaves and Akshat and offered to the Gods and Goddesses as per rituals.  At many places, during puja, betel leaves are kept with camphor and burnt, which brings positive energy in the house.

Betel leaves are known for their fresh and aromatic nature, which is included in any puja.  It is believed that it is a symbol of purity and this completes the worship.  In many rituals associated with puja, offering betel leaves is tantamount to offering blessings of the Gods and Goddesses.  The vibrant green color of these leaves is associated with new beginnings and rejuvenation of life. Betel leaves are often included in puja ceremonies to seek blessings of auspiciousness and prosperity.  It is believed that the inherent properties present in the betel leaf attract positive energy and divine blessings to the worshipper.  This helps you concentrate in worship.  In Hinduism, the betel leaf is sometimes considered to represent the sacred trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.  Offering betel leaves during puja is a simple way of expressing reverence towards these divine powers and is considered a symbol of acceptance of cosmic order by the worshipper.

Along with Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva is also very happy by offering betel leaves.  By placing gulkand, catechu, betel nut, cloves and cardamom in a betel leaf and offering it to Lord Shiva, he soon becomes happy and fulfills every wish of the people.  Betel leaves are considered very auspicious in Hindu religion and the practice of using these leaves in any worship has been going on for a long time.  Use of betel leaves is considered essential especially during Lakshmi puja.  In worship, betel leaf removes negative energy and brings positive energy.  Due to its effect, the worship is not affected by any bad thing.

It is told in the Puranas that sage Katyayan was a devotee of Mata.  They did not have any child.  He did penance to his mother and asked her for a boon that he would get her as a daughter.  Meanwhile, the atrocities of Mahishasura were increasing.  He had driven away the gods from heaven.  Due to the anger of the gods, a light appeared which was in the form of a girl.  That brilliance took birth as a daughter in the house of sage Katyayan.  The sage knew that it was the mother who had appeared in his house in the form of a daughter because of a boon.  The sage first worshiped the goddess and she was called Katyayani as she was the daughter of sage Katyayana.  The original purpose of the appearance of Goddess Katyayani was to end Mahishasura.  After being worshiped by the sage on the day of Ashwin Shukla Navami, the goddess said that she had appeared to end Mahishasura.  After this, the Goddess fought with Mahishasura on Navami and Dashami Tithi.  On Dashami Tithi, the goddess killed Mahishasura by eating betel leaves filled with honey.  After this, Goddess Katyayani was also known as Mahishasura Mardani.

During Navratri, offering rose petals on betel leaves brings blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.  This removes money related problems in life.
Betel leaf is an important ingredient in Havan puja.  The gods used betel leaves during the churning of the ocean.  Since then, betel leaves started being used in worship.  Mix vermillion and ghee and write your name on a betel leaf, after which offer it to Goddess Durga.  This will result in an early marriage.  On Tuesday and Saturday, betel leaf should be offered to Lord Hanuman.  With this, Hanuman ji will himself take the responsibility of the trouble that will befall the devotees.

The betel leaf should be complete and have a stalk attached to it.  The betel leaf should not be torn anywhere.  Use only green betel leaves for worship and worship. It is very auspicious to keep betel leaves in worship, keep in mind that along with betel leaves, cardamom, cloves, gulkand etc. are also offered.  It is believed that if fully prepared paan is offered then the Mother Goddess becomes very happy and happiness and prosperity resides in the life of the person.  According to the beliefs of Sanatan Dharma, various gods and goddesses reside in the betel leaf. The gods and goddesses of the universe reside in this one leaf.  That is why betel leaf must be offered in the worship of Goddess Bhagwati.
