ideal day of my life

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

There is a day in the life of all of us which we always remember and cherish as the happiest day of our life. It could be when we get first rank in the class or win a competition in school or anything else. The happiest day of life can be different for different people.

My parents celebrate their anniversary every year on 22nd June. This time it was different as they were going to celebrate their silver jubilee. I belong to a family where parents hardly give any importance to their birthdays/anniversaries but never miss an opportunity to celebrate any golden moment of their children. So, I, along with my elder sister and cousins, planned to throw a complete surprise party for my parents on their silver jubilee.

The challenge for me and my cousins was to convince our grandparents and uncles and aunts to allow us to have the party and at the same time keep it a complete secret from our parents. After requesting for two-three days, we got permission and we started preparations for ten days. All through these ten days we constantly kept an eye on all our elders so that they did not say a single word to our parents about the anniversary party.

Finally the most awaited date arrived, and at exactly 12:00 we wished our parents and gave them new mobile phones. In the morning we played Kirtan and then everyone returned to their daily routine.

In the afternoon my sister called my parents to get ready for her friend’s engagement ceremony, and said that he was forcing her to come with the family. My innocent parents believed it and agreed to go. After an hour we left, and my brother said we had to go to the market to get a gift for our friend. Actually it was a plan to waste an hour in the market so that all the guests could reach the venue before our parents entered.

I, my sister and our parents reached the venue, and when we opened the hotel entrance, they were completely surprised to see our entire family/relatives there. Everyone was congratulating in unison, “Happy 25th Marriage Anniversary, Happy Silver Jubilee. The faces of my parents were worth seeing at that time. I had never seen them so happy till date.

My parents’ reaction was priceless. His happiness at that moment cannot be expressed in words, and I could see tears of immense joy in his eyes. They exchanged their rings and we had many golden moments that evening. In the end we were successful in throwing them a complete surprise party. They looked exactly like a newly married couple. Thank God for his grace and blessings. I always pray to God that he may always bless us to be the reason for the happiness of our parents. Which gave us a chance to see this beautiful world. Who brought us up with so much pampering and gave us happiness by strangulating our happiness. Who become restless in every small problem of ours. If we can earn a little happiness for such parents, then it is the greatest good fortune for us. And it should be the duty of every child not to let tears come to his parents’ eyes because of him.
