Sri Hari Stotram is a powerful mantra dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is recited by Swami Brahmananda. How to recite Shri Hari?

Before reciting Shri Hari Stotra, some things should be kept in mind. Before starting the lesson, wake up in the morning and take bath after daily routine. Start the puja by taking the name of Shri Ganesh. One should not stop or get up after starting the lesson. Do not talk during the lesson. Lord Vishnu loves sandalwood very much, hence apply sandalwood tilak to him. Offer yellow colored Prasad to Shri Vishnu. And offer only yellow flowers. Offer Tulsidas at the feet of Shri Hari. This recitation must be done on Thursday. And wearing yellow clothes while reciting this lesson pleases Goddess Lakshmi.

Meaning: This Ashtak of Lord Hari which is like the garland around Murari’s neck, whoever reads it with true heart reaches Vaikuntha world. He becomes free from the bondage of sorrow, grief and birth and death.

In Sanatan Dharma, meditation and chanting along with bathing and donation have special significance during the month of Kartik. Worshiping Lord Vishnu and Tulsi Mata in this holy month brings auspicious results. According to religious beliefs, Lord Vishnu woke up from Yoga Nidra in this month. Therefore, Lord Vishnu is duly worshiped in this month. The life of the one who gets the blessings of Shri Hari, the creator of the universe, becomes blessed. By remembering Shri Vishnu all the sins and sufferings of man go away.
