Why worship Mother Siddhidatri?

Maa Siddhidatri is worshiped on the last day of Navratri. This form of Maa is the one who bestows all siddhis. By worshiping Maa Siddhidatri, all kinds of siddhis are obtained and all kinds of worldly and extraterrestrial wishes are also fulfilled. She provides all kinds of siddhis to her devotees, hence she is known as Siddhidatri Maa. . Another name of Maa Siddhidatri is Goddess Lakshmi, who represents wealth, happiness and success. She blessed Lord Brahma with a life partner, who was none other than her own form, Goddess Saraswati. He then blessed Lord Vishnu with a wife who was herself a divine form of Siddhidatri Mata, that of Goddess Lakshmi. The word Siddhi means supernatural power and Dhatri means giver of rewards. Therefore, it is believed that Maa Siddhidatri fulfills all the divine aspirations. Mother Siddhidatri is considered the goddess who bestows perfection. She blesses her devotees with wisdom and imparts spiritual knowledge to them.

The form of Mother Siddhidatri is extremely divine. Mother’s vehicle is a lion and the goddess also sits on a lotus. Mother Siddhidatri is seated on a lotus like Mother Lakshmi and has four arms. The mother’s right lower hand is decorated with a lotus flower and her upper hand is decorated with a conch shell. On the left hand side, a mace is decorated in the lower hand and a chakra is decorated in the upper hand. Mother Durga is wearing red clothes in this form. Mother Siddhidatri is also considered to be the form of Mother Saraswati. According to Devipuran, Lord Shankar had achieved these achievements only by his grace. By his grace, half of Lord Shiva’s body became that of a goddess. For this reason he became famous among the people by the name ‘Ardhanarishwar’. By worshiping this form of Mother, all the siddhis are attained, hence she is worshiped by all the gods, sages, demons, eunuchs and householders.

According to mythology, Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva and Vashitva are the eight Siddhis. All the Gods and Goddesses, Gandharbha, Rishis and Asuras attain siddhis only by worshiping them. Any devotee who fasts for nine days of Navratri, worships and finally worships the girl, receives the immense blessings of the Mother Goddess and all the pending tasks are completed. Along with this, happiness, peace and prosperity is achieved in the family. On the day of Mahanavami, offer coconut, panchamrit and pua to Maa Siddhidatri. Mother is very happy with this. The high crown on her head and the gentle smile on her face are the identity of Maa Siddhidatri. Even on this day, many devotees make Kunjikas sit in their homes and feed them. It is said that Halwa-Puri and gram should be offered to Mata Siddhidatri. On this day, coconut sweets should be offered to the Mother Goddess. With this all the wishes are fulfilled. Also, distributing this Prasad among girls and Brahmins is considered very auspicious.

He likes purple and violet colors very much. In such a situation, you can worship her by wearing these colors. Siddhidatri is pleased with Plumeria Alba or Champa flower. It is offered to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth incarnation of Maa Sherawali. Do not offer Doob, Madar, Harsingar, Bel and Tagar to Durga. Apart from Champa and lotus, no flower bud should be offered. It is believed that Hibiscus flower is dear to Mother Goddess and by offering it, the devotees get immense blessings of Mother Durga. Puranas tell that Mother Durga resides in the hibiscus flower.
