Who is our biggest enemy?

Man’s mind becomes his own enemy when the mind is not under his control. “Mind” on which if man gets control then he can move towards a better and blissful life. Lord Krishna himself has said in Geeta that mind is the most powerful which can control the senses, if man controls his mind. If one becomes a slave, he destroys himself. Mind plays a special role in our daily activities. Most of the people act according to their mind. And the mind spreads such a web of illusion that a person gets trapped in the web of illusion even without wanting to. Being under the influence of the mind, a person becomes ignorant of things about which he is well aware. There is knowledge. He forgets her and gets ready to follow the wrong path.

For example, a student who goes to school to get education, despite knowing well the importance of education and the impact of education in life, spends most of his time in useless activities and sports just for momentary pleasure. In order to fulfill the desires of his mind, as a result, he faces difficulty in passing the examination and is unable to score good marks. Despite knowing very well that this education will be useful to him, the mind treats man like an enemy. Tries to take away from education. Not only education, but if even a knowledgeable person does not have the power to control his mind, then he is forced to do wrong things.

However, it is not so easy for a person born in this world to stop himself from getting trapped in the illusion of the mind because the mind is so fickle that in a moment it diverts the person from his goal and leads him towards those tasks which He only suffers loss. It is the mind that traps man in the trap of greed, sensuality and inspires him to do all those things which cause loss to man. This mind is ignorant of the truth of life, suffering. At times of sorrow this mind sings sad songs and at times of peace it involves others in its happiness. The mind mesmerizes a person in the web of illusion to such an extent that it does not give him time to think about himself even for a moment. Due to which he is never able to meet God present in his inner soul. There is no doubt that controlling the mind is very difficult, as if climbing a mountain, but still there are some small and useful things, keeping in mind the mind can be controlled to a great extent.

You have no greater well-wisher than yourself and no greater enemy than yourself. So what depends on whether your life will improve or deteriorate? So who is in control of your life? There is someone who rules and controls your life. Inspires you to do bad things. And then makes you feel bad when something bad happens to you. The mind is like a horse that needs to be reined in.

It is said that the one who has learned the movement of the mind, has achieved mastery in the world. Be it the greatest Mahatma or a high official, he loses his prestige due to lack of self-control. These create many obstacles in human life and make it disappointing. If one takes the help of self-control in their rivalry, then there is no doubt in the success of human life. To control them or to control oneself is to conquer the world. Forget about ordinary people, even great emperors, when they are under the influence of lust, give up their self-control and get into trouble. People without self-control are always unenthusiastic, impatient and indecisive. Therefore, even if they get momentary success, ultimately they get infamy and defeat. Self-controlled people always have enthusiasm, patience and wisdom which determine the path to their success.
The greatest power of a human being is the mind, hence he is a human being. The power of the mind is practice, not rest. That is why the mind always keeps a person engaged in some work or the other. Self-control has been called the victory of the mind.

If any person wants to conquer his senses then he should choose the path of humility. By doing this he can easily overcome his senses.
For example, a person who has learned to be humble by understanding the path of humility. Also, if one starts using humility in his conduct and thoughts, then that person gets victory over his senses. Such a person can easily win anyone’s heart with his humility. Therefore, a person should show humility in whatever he says. Humility is such a jewel of man that can make him the best. Therefore, if you use harsh words towards anyone, distance yourself from them immediately. Such a person cannot gain respect in anyone’s mind. If you want to maintain respect for yourself in everyone’s hearts, then your nature should be filled with humility. Only by doing this you can live a happy life. That is why Acharya Chanakya has said that the only way to conquer the senses is humility. With the help of humility we can control our mind. And as soon as our mind is under our control, our enemy will come under our control.
