What is the significance of Raas or sharad Purnima?

Sharad Purnima is also known as ‘Raas Purnima’. On this day, Shri Krishna created Maharas. It is said that on the night of Sharad Purnima, nectar rains from the rays of the moon. For this reason, on this day in North India, there is a custom of making kheer and keeping it in moonlight overnight. According to mythological belief, Goddess Lakshmi was born on the day of Sharad Purnima, that is why in many parts of the country, to get her blessings, people celebrate Sharad Purnima. According to a study, the vibrational capacity of medicines is higher on Sharad Purnima. That means the effect of medicines increases. It is believed that on the night of Sharad Purnima, the moon becomes full of 16 arts and showers nectar. On the day of Sharad Purnima, Goddess Lakshmi is especially worshiped to please her, after which the season changes. And autumn arrives. That is why it is called Sharad Purnima. On the night of Sharad Purnima, Lord Krishna performed Raas with the Gopis. On this day, at midnight, Goddess Lakshmi visits the earth and bestows her blessings on her devotees.
