What is the difference between science and religion?

There is such a relationship between science and religion that it is essential for science to grow to remove the conservatism and superstition of religion. Similarly, development of religion is also necessary to end the monopoly and autocracy of science and to determine the goal of human life. It is also important that there is wisdom with science, otherwise there will be less development and more destruction. The coordination between religion and science is seen nowhere else as much as in India. Only this balanced and judicious coordination of the two can benefit humanity. Our sages years ago not only linked science with religion but also explained its practical knowledge. According to him, if science is organized and used for the welfare of human beings then it becomes a religion. This is the reason why all our religious scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads, Darshan etc. have science embedded in them.

A section of people who consider religion as pomp and science as a miracle have come to believe that science and religion cannot co-exist, whereas the objective of both science and religion is the welfare of mankind. Then how can both be against each other? The difference is that the nature and scope of work of both are different from each other. Religion provides the path to salvation for the purification of the soul. Science facilitates all the concerns of the concept and facilities of evolution for living. Science alone is only half and cannot give satisfaction to man. It can give a better body, good health, longer life, more material comforts, but that is not all. This is just the surface of life, not the center point. Religion illuminates our soul and transforms us from soul to God. Science without religion can provide happiness to man, but it also brings him to the brink of destruction. People feel that religion is based on traditions and beliefs and science gives clear proof of everything, hence many people It seems that these two are opposite to each other. Let us understand what is the difference between religion and science?

Science has the ability to deeply study all the living and non-living things present in this world and reveal their characteristics, shortcomings and evils. In short, science gives every small and big explanation about the objects, on the other hand, religion gives us subjects. Helps in knowing. Actually there is no reason for difference between religion and science, if any religion in the world refutes science, then understand that it is not a religion at all, because science aims at telling the truth of any object. And by breaking the old beliefs and superstitions of man, the truth is brought before the eyes. And as we know that religion is a thing beyond science, hence science is a branch of religion, religion is a big tree and science is a small branch of it. . Therefore, there can be no reason for differences between the two.

Science is the study of things that can be perceived by our senses, while religion is the study of that which cannot be perceived by our senses. Science works on logic and evidence whereas this is not necessary in religion. Science is not a modern knowledge, nor is it a modern subject. Science is a physical subject, which searches for truth on the basis of materiality. Science is to know the truth of what we see and feel with our senses and how it works. It is like weighing and considering every thing in depth, there is very little amount of spirituality in it. Science rejects everything which it either does not understand or has no proof. While on one hand religion believes in God and goes in search of Him, science denies the existence of God. Science finds the reason behind every object and action, before modern science, there was science of sages in India, their research works are found in Vedas and Puranas, even today many things are absolutely accurate. Ancient science went beyond the senses and explored through meditation, so its results are still useful today. The points of science have also been considered in Yogavishistha and many religious texts.

Modern science stops short here, its belief is like finding truth only through senses. Whatever our ten senses saw, felt and understood is the truth and what we could not understand and did not see is rejected by science. Science cannot think beyond meditation yet, in fact it is too late.
