Shri Vinayak, Gajanan is described as Adi Dev, similar to all the three gods Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Before worshiping any god for any successful work. There is a mythological tradition of worshiping Shri Ganapati i.e. worshiping Ganapati. Ganapati is called Mangalmurti because blessings and boons are present in every part of his body, which gives the message of living life in the right direction. Lambodar showers blessings on the devotees from every part. That is why he is called the God of auspiciousness. Let us tell you the importance of different parts of Lord Ganesha.

Ganesh ji’s ears are big like soup, hence they are also called Gajakarna and Soupkarna. Gaja’s ears are huge, exactly the size of soup. One special thing about these is that the elephants keep moving their ears in the air. There is a deep science behind this. The elephant’s skin is thick due to which the blood is not able to be cooled by the outside air and Gajraj cools his blood by passing it through the fine veins of his ears and stirring it. This creates prudence and patience in them and prevents them from getting angry. That’s why Shri Ganapati is the god of discretion and does not get angry very easily. Moving the ear of the Lord of Wisdom means that you concentrate on listening. It also means that Ganapati is always eager to listen to his devotees. According to organ science, people with long ears are lucky and long lived. One of the secrets of Lord Ganesha’s long ears is that he listens to everyone.

big head of ganpati,
Lord Ganesha takes decisions with wisdom and discretion. By seeing the head of Ganapati, Gajvinayak gets the boon of being intelligent and prudent. Besides this, it also creates the feeling that the devotee can take correct decisions between right and wrong using his logical power. There is an example of this in the stories of Ganapati also.

The beneficial trunk of Lord Ganesha,
Gajanan’s trunk always keeps shaking. The trunk always indicates to be active every moment. One never has to face sorrow and poverty by seeing the trunk of Lord Ganesha. The sight of Gajanana’s trunk gives the devotees the boon of always being alert and active. The trunk of Lord Ganesha is sometimes on the right and sometimes on the left.
In the scriptures, the direction of Lord Ganesha’s trunk has also been given different significance. It is believed that those who want happiness and prosperity should worship Ganesha with the trunk on the right side. To defeat the enemy and attain wealth, worshiping Lord Ganesha with the trunk turned towards the left is beneficial.

Big belly of Lord Ganesha,
Ganpati’s stomach is very big. That is why he is also called Lambodar. By seeing the big stomach of Ganapati, devotees develop the quality of digesting every good and bad thing. The huge stomach tells that every good and bad thing should be digested by keeping it in the stomach itself and should not spread animosity on any subject. A sense of wisdom is established in taking decisions. According to organ science, a big stomach is a symbol of happiness.

small eyes,
Lord Ganesha’s eyes are small. It is said that a person with small eyes is of contemplative and serious nature. That is, the eyes of Ganapati give the message that everything should be studied deeply. By doing this you are able to take the right decision.
Elephant’s eyes are small, it means being introverted. To be intelligent it is necessary to be an introvert. Another meaning of the small eye is that it keeps an eye on everyone but it is not easy to know where one is looking. Therefore, Ganpati ji’s eyes remain on the deeds of all the devotees.

Four arms, Lord Ganesha has four arms. Out of his four arms, he has a hook in one hand, a noose in the second hand, a modak in the third hand and a blessing in the fourth. The first arm tells us that the hook in his hand is an indicator of That restraint on desires is necessary. The loop in his other arm is an indicator of the fact that it is necessary for every person to have so much restraint and control in his conduct and behavior, so that the balance of life is maintained. The noose is a symbol of control, restraint and punishment. There is a modak in his third arm. The meaning of Modak is that which gives pleasure (pleasure), which gives pleasure and satisfaction. It is important to be content in body and mind, only then you can get the real joy of life. For example, if you eat Modak little by little and slowly, its taste and sweetness give more pleasure and finally after finishing the Modak, you feel satisfied. Similarly, superficial and external knowledge does not give happiness to a person but the sweetness of happiness and success is hidden in the depth of knowledge. He blesses the devotees with the fourth arm. The Lord blesses the one who places the fruits of his actions in the hands of God. This is the message of the fourth hand. Its four arms symbolize omnipresence in all four directions, and while giving the message to man to be active, it tells that the work should be completed on time by using two hands like four arms. The entire living creation roams in his stomach, that is why he is Lambodar.

In the fight between Lord Ganesha and Parashuram, one of Lord Ganesha’s teeth was broken, hence he is called Ekadant. Lord Ganesha converted his broken tooth into a pen and wrote the entire Mahabharata with it. His broken tooth shows that we should use everything properly.

Not only the body of Lord Ganesha, his vehicle and favorite food also have their own distinct characteristics. Just as their vehicle is unique in itself, the mouse does not at all suit their physique and uniqueness but there is a special secret hidden behind it. Mouse is considered a symbol of playfulness, from this point of view Ganesh ji rides on playfulness and keeps it under control.
