Man is such an intelligent creature who is sitting with different types of illusions in his mind. He thinks that this work cannot be done without him, that work cannot be done without him. Similarly, he has the illusion that without him his wife and children will not be able to live. I keep falling into the pit. The elephant knows that there is a sugarcane tree on the other side of the pit. But the greed of food makes him forget the fear of falling. Similarly, a man forgets his image because of his attachment to his family.

There was a very learned saint. For many days he was thinking that now I am about to get old, I should engage myself in the devotion of God. Went to his guru and told the whole thing to the guru. The Guru said, tomorrow you take your family and go for a swim in the river and stay quietly inside the water by doing breathing exercises there. The saint did the same, he hid inside the water. His family members thought he had drowned. Everyone returned to their homes. When the neighbors saw that the saint was no more in this world, they all started helping him. On the other side, the saint came out of the water and went to do penance in the forest. But the memory of home does not allow him to concentrate. Again and again the face of his wife and children would come in front of him. He wonders whether my wife and children would have eaten the food or not. Because I was the only earning member in the family.

This went on for a few days, his mind was not engaged in meditation. One day he came back to his master. I started saying to the Guru, what should I do, my mind does not forget about my family. The man’s wife also used to come to the Guru’s place everyday to seek his blessings. The Guru said to the saint, today you sit quietly, when your wife comes, listen to her words. The saint did the same, early in the morning his wife came. Guru asked the saint’s wife how is your life going. Saint’s wife said that we are living a better life than before. With my husband’s earnings, my house was run with great difficulty. Till the time my husband was there, even the villagers did not help us. After he left, he also started helping us. I also grow vegetables in my garden and sell them in the market. I have started earning good money. Now my children have also started studying. The saint was listening to the whole thing. He was very happy to hear the words of his wife.

When the saint’s wife left, the saint came out. The Guru explained to him, look, it doesn’t make any difference in the world whether someone lives or not. But the mind of the saint had become restless now. He was feeling that now there would be no attention from him. He started telling the Guru that I want to go back to my home. The Guru explained to him a lot but he did not agree. One night he went to her house and started knocking on the door. Who is his wife’s voice coming from inside? She said, I am your husband, open the door. The saint’s wife got scared, she said from inside, it has been 6 months since my husband died. Please do not lie to me. You must be some robber. The saint said no I am your husband and he told the whole story. Still the saint’s wife did not open the door. She was thinking that some miscreant must have come trying to rob her. The saint’s wife said that even if you are my husband, go away because we have come to live now. We are living life better than ever before. Please don’t disturb our happiness.

The saint went back to the forest with a very sad heart. Today his illusion was shattered, that his family cannot live without him. While the truth was that his wife never tried to work outside while he was alive. Whatever work the saint used to do, she was living in that. It never occurred to his wife that even if I do something, four more paise will come into the house. Due to lack of money, she could not educate her children. But now she had become independent. That’s why don’t consider yourself so great in life that the world will not run without you.

Illusion is the dream of a closed eye and an open eye. If this is visible in the open eye then there will be realization in life. This deception can be cut off only with the light of knowledge. It is said that a saint used to live in an ashram on the banks of the Ganges and teach his disciples. One day at nightfall he gave something to one of his disciples and said go inside and put it on my bed. The disciple came back with the object and fearfully said, ‘There is a snake sitting on Gurudev’s bed.’ The saint said, ‘You go inside again, chanting the name of the Lord, the snake will run away.’ The disciple went inside again, but he saw that the snake There it is. He came back scared again.

Now Guruji said that this time you go inside with the lamp in your hand. When the disciple reached inside with the lamp, he saw in the light of the lamp that what he thought was a snake was actually a rope. Because of the darkness, he was visible to him like a snake. When he told Gurudev about the rope, he said, ‘Wats, the world is a web of deep lies. It can be cut only with the light of knowledge. Due to ignorance, we keep many illusions. One should always take the help of knowledge to remove them.

We keep uniting day and night for all the happiness of the world, even after that we do not get happiness. On the other hand, we never try for the happiness of our soul. Due to this, many types of sins continue to happen. We keep thinking only about happiness in our mind whereas there is no happiness and sorrow in this world, we accept happiness and sorrow as our own. We consider the reduction of sorrow as happiness. The job of our mind is to create illusions. The thing we desire or the thing we are afraid of, many times we have the illusion of being or appearing. It is created by our own mind. Before this, its image is created in our mind and later we feel the illusion of seeing something.

All the illusions in the world are created by our mind. We can also see this by connecting it with the imagination power of our mind. Everyone knows that whatever is happening is today’s time and now is the moment only. There is no such thing as past or say yesterday and future or tomorrow.
